Anyone have any experience in repurposing their old PC for a dedicated server for some games? What they needed once they got into it?
I have an old i7 4790k and enough sticks to get it to 32gb RAM at 1866mhz on a gigabyte z97 mobo so it's a mini board, but I'm only going to have 5-6 bots running and then whoever joins it. Shouldn't be too much as the game probably peaks at 10 players for the last 5 years (Half Life: Opposing Force).
