i have 1000mg/100ml solution of alprazolam (Xanax) in propylene glycol, but i would prefer to have it in acetone or isopropyl so when i dose myself by dropping it on sweets it can soak in and dry out and i can prepare doses for future use. i have previous experience with dosing myself using isopropyl on hard sugar sweets and drying it out, but TL;DR i wanna move it from PG to acetone/IPA, is there an easy way to do this or will i have to put up with annoying gloop

There's no easy way to do it with readily accessible kitchen chemistry stuff, no.

The only practical way I can think of is to add it to a large volume of water & repeatedly extract it with something like diethyl ether or hexane/heptane/petroleum ether. then rinse the nonpolar solvents with water several times more, dry over magensium sulfate, filter & concentrate via evaporation.

This works because benzos won't be soluble in a large amount of water with PG in it, but will dissolve in nonpolar solvents, (and propylene glycol is the opposite - dissolves in water but not nonpolars) so you can basically "wash" the PG away with water and keep the benzos dissolved in a nonpolar solvent.
