How would I go about doing this with the minimum amount of wastage?? say there was 250mg in 250ml of water/vodka mix.

If its not a good idea its not a problem just wondering.

oh and I need to mention that I'm not a chemist, this would have to be done with minimum expense on kit but preferably done with stuff found in a normal home :)

=D ;)

I'm not too bothered about it being in liquid, just a nightmare getting it into a club!! :D would rather some powder if possible!

Just evaporate it in a bowl over a pan of boiling water. 2C-B is very stable & when all of the water and alcohol have evaporated, you'll be left with a crust of a 2C-B salt.

That simple

so the heat wont kill it or anything?? Sweet!!!

there is some food dye in it, I take it that wont matter I'll just have red seabee??

Well theres a procedure to get white (and I mean white) 2c-b you have to cook it hours with NaOH solution-its not being destroyed by heat :)

It's no different than drying out ketamine. Use a pyrex baking dish and a razor blade.

After emptying out the original container, you may want to rinse it with a small amount of alcohol, and add the rinse to the liquid to be dried, to get any residue.

SWIM did this with "explosion" and has a nice vial of green methylone powder, which would nicely match your red 2C-B powder! :)

@f&b

My point was merely to show that it is even stable against cooking NaOH (of course it produces the base.If the freebase is reconverted to the hcl salt, its perfectly white and not the pinkish color it usually has.)

the method F&B mentioned worked fine, tried it out with one dose of 25ml/mg, took about 15 minutes :)

only problem was it created a weird smell (vodka evaporating most prob), my old dear came home and wondered what I had been up too! =D

had this 2C-I dissolved in vodka in a 250ml bottle for a few years sitting in the sun, in the back of the moldy shed, in some dust, etc.

out of curiousity - why else - the content was placed in a shallow dish in a fan forced oven at 40C for 120 min, resultingin a residue, which when scraped off, produced a brillliant white powder with no reported loss of potency in re the starting active.

^ Very interesting... wish my oven went as low as 40 though...
