Remeron and Benzos

Do any of you who have experience with benzos think I can pass off a 45mg APO remeron as 1mg xanax football? Are the effects similar enough that some one will believe they took a xanax?
 
if youve never taken either they will both put you out independently, much less together
 
Remeron is not anywhere near as strong as a sedative as a benzo.
They work through two different types of receptors.

Whoever you are trying to rip off will be pissed.
 
I wouldn't suggest it. I'm guessing that whoever is the purchaser will know the difference. Also, couldn't they just LOOK at it and know, without even taking it? I'd hope so...
 
Ya we aren't here to help you scam your friends. Get a job and buy your drugs like normal people. This shit pisses me off to no end, selling something as something else...
 
I don't get why people ask questions like this. I guess it's a good thing my girlfriend and I have phones with internet. Anytime I acquire a pill that I haven't memorized the pill id, I look it up before purchasing, and ALWAYS check before eating.

What if you friend had some rare disease where he could take benzo's, but not remeron?

Don't rob people. At the least, explain that's what you got, thats what you want for it, and allow them to choose. Lying to someone and trying to sell them another drug is stupid, and immoral.
 
Remeron affects some of the same receptors that benzos do, so I doubt that one could be potentially harmful while the other wouldn't be. However, I am prescribed both, and remeron would knock the average person out who has never taken it before. Hell it makes me sleep for 12 hours and stay groggy the entire next day, and I only take 30mg, sometimes half.

Idk how you could say remeron is not nearly as strong a sedative as xanax, remeron will knock me out where as I could take 10mg of xanax and feel great, with perhaps a slight speech impediment, but it definitely wouldnt put me to sleep. Maybe it's my tolerance, but with someone who has no tolerance to either, the remeron will knock them on their ass.

To the OP: Not a good idea at all. What if this person decides to take the remeron and go out driving or goes to work. They will end up nodding out and possible harming themselves or lose their job. This is incredibly unsafe and stupid.

To Jamtastic: Great safety measure on your part. I also always look up any pill I may purchase or take before indulging in it. Knowledge is safety.

Remeron and xanax are not anywhere close to one another.

Remeron is a sedative antidepressant.
Xanax is a benzodiazepine.

They resemble nothing of each other in effects, period.
 
This is not in the spirit of HR, and you shouldn't be trying to rip off people by passing one drug off for another. You don't know what sort of reaction someone might have if you did that.

I'm going to go ahead and close this for the BDD mods for now.
