Has anyone experimented with Relora, a combo of Magnolia and Phellodendron? It's marketed primarily as an anti-anxiety supplement and can be found at many health food stores. I've read some positive reviews on it. There's even a book about it, purporting it as a weight-loss agent.
I'm not too familiar with Phellodendron bark (Asian cork tree), but I remember hearing good things about Magnolia bark extract, so I thought this may be of interest. If anyone has any info or experience with this stuff please post. Thanks.
Here's a few links and studies I just pulled up:
A Randomized Double Blind Placebo Controlled Clinical Trial of ReloraTM in the Management of Stress in Healthy Overweight Females
Anxiolytic properties of botanical extracts in the chick social separation-stress procedure.
Relaxation During Weight Loss: Relieving Stress with an Herbal Combination
