Relieving the pressure

Slowly slipping pulling down
burning stinging dripping down
dark in color deep in hate
in its power holds my fate
crying screaming never heard
my mouth produces not one word
my mind is racing
i cant keep facing
all the things i see each day
there's got to be another way
the tears are falling sure and steady
my thoughts keep saying are you ready
i think i am
i know i am
i dont wanna hide it any more
a drop of blood hits the floor
a crimson river
a sudden shiver
my thoughts unsure
my mind cant endure
all the torment screaming yelling
and the voices that keep telling
telling me to hurry up
i tried to hide it
i really did
i laughed and partied
like a normal kid
hid it all
kept it inside
i promise you i really tried
and now i'm here
i dont know why
i feel the fear
but you dont see me cry
no one sees it
they never look
but just forget it
that's all it took
i scream and yell yet produce no sound
i punch and slam and fall to the ground
its ok though
you wont have to worry again
you'll never miss me
i wasn't your friend
here i go now
i'm gonna do it for real
if you could only know
the pain i feel
slowly slipping pulling down
burning stinging dripping down

Damn...very nice work.

One topic I've always stayed away from in my writing is suicide...not sure why...I've had the same thoughts that are in this poem just never been able to express much on this topic.

Oh that was nice - very well written. The emotions exprerssed are so vivid and strong.

I only hope this is just a written release for you and not a real contemplation
