Relieving opiate constiption-for the love of not being in agony, please help

Thesis: How can i relieve opiate constipation NOW?

used 40mg oxycodone daily for about 2 months - mild constipation.
moved up to 80mg/day oxycodone for about 2 months - moderate constipation.
for the last month used 100-120mg oxycodone daily, and the constipation has been getting increasingly worse; the last few days have been horrible. been using enemas and stool suppositories for almost every bowel movement over the last few months. used 8 stool suppositories last night in one sit down and was still horribly constipated. feels like there's this disgusting big thing stuck inside all the time right down around the tailbone, and moving it out is next to impossible, and even when some stool gets moved out it still feels like it's there, always, extremely agonizing. also feels a little bit warm down there, in a disgusting way, and like whatever is stuck in there is being sucked down towards the rectal opening, and pushing down and around the sides. its hard to describe the exact feeling its just miserable. like dry, slow, warm, disgusting, agonizing, impossible to relax with this going on. my colon and rectal area just feels sore and tight and miserable. its so bad because my rectal muscles were already messed up before started taking opiates. that's why i started taking them in the first place.

i've also been belching hot gas a lot. lots of gas coming out the rear too. in addition to the enemas and stool suppositories, been using colace, about 300mg daily, and metamusil or benefiber at not too high a dose. None of that seems to help.

WHAT CAN I DO????
PLEASE HELP. EVERY BOWEL MOVEMENT IS LIKE A TRIP TO HELL. I JUST WANT TO BE ABLE TO GET IT ALL OUT EASIER AND FASTER AND THEN NOT WORRY ABOUT IT ANYMORE. PLEASE HELP.

Ps: ultimately the solution is to just get off of opiates when i can, but please don't suggest that now as it is unrealistic for me to be able to get off of them right now.

Drink loads of milk oh and a spoonfull of olive oil a day does wonders


i feel for you man constipation really ruins your high after a while you just get apathic
 
Yowch, I know where your coming from there.

My two tips:

Get some magnesium sulfate (epsom salt), available from any pharmacy, make a solution with warm water and about a tablespoonful of MgSO4, and for want of a better term, stick it up yer arse =D

Tip two, blaze some herb before you go for the fateful turd, I just use recreationally myself, sampling bits of this and that as and when they come along, but occasionally I do go on a bender for a few days and pay for it with an arsefull of razor-edged turds, and smoking bud seems to relax the muscles a bit, and increase the ability to push the bastard out in one go.

A bit of oil round the ringpiece wouldn't hurt either, any nontoxic oil will do, or butter failing that, other than that, just imagine your giving birth to the bastard child of Condoleeza Rice.

Guaranteed to scare the crap out of anybody born with a functional anus=D
 
Never once on this site, or any other, have I EVER claimed NOT to be fucked up, always have been, always will be, opiates bring out the very devil in me, with the result that things like the above get posted when I'm shitfaced=D

Yep as the previous posters stated before, Epson Salt is a MUST, as well as olive oil, ive actually been using 1/4 cup of olive oil a day, and i move my bowels twice a day at the least, and i have a hefty daily OC habit (120-160mgs a day, insuffulated) and still manage to have a healthy intestinal system. Also any kind of stimulant will help when you know you have to poop but have little or no sensation to do so. The most painful opiate in terms of constipation is by far Suboxone. Ive left bigger and harder Submarines for Suboxone than any other opiate ive came across. Although this week ill be having a pretty hefty amount of Oxymorphone so ill see how bad that makes it. Hope i helped

See i was gonna state in my previous post if it was the Naloxone in the Subs and not just the Bup? Cauze ive had subutex as well and wasnt nearly as bad as the box. Hmm interesting, all i know is ive bled more times from Sub than anything else.
 
Traditional methods would be a smoke while on the John....

Two Cups of coffee....

Or you could do what we call the brown bomber Milk Of Mag....Prune Juice.... And Butter about a tablespoon warmed in the microwave and Chug.....

In all seriousness though the question has pretty much been answered.

Oxycodone always causes the worst constipation for me, even like 6-7 days of use will have me extremely uncomfortable from being so backed up. Never had much of an issue with other opiates..
 
I'd have to go with methadone for the opiate king of constipation. Suboxone comes in a close second, Oxy never really got to me that bad, neither did hydrocodone.
 
i try to drink prune juice every day and it seems to work well for oxycodone constipation...
 
Oh I forgot the best one- no joke,
Epson salts mixed with water. Directions are on package.
IT tastes nasty but t works like a charm!
But get ready to get the plunger out because your poop will come out in feet

I've had blow cut with Mannitol (sp?) and it was basically: Do a line and be prepared to have your colon explode within the next 30 seconds.
 
A girl I know with this exact problem says that a shot of cod liver oil is the nastiest-tasting thing on earth, but it works like crazy, and fast.
