so i've been on bupe for about four weeks now but i've now come across some diesel that i really want to check out. i've waited 24 hours since my last dose of bupe, however, my question is, after i do this small amount of dope, do i have to wait until i'm withdrawing again in order to start the bupe or should i not be worried about precipitated withdrawals with this tiny amount of dope?
 
I think that will be quite a difficult one to answer, in theory if the bupe is no longer binded then yes i think you will need to wait. It varies from person to person tho...
 
maybe you could be so kind as to direct me to those billion and one discussions on this topic. i don't find anything specific to what i'm asking.
 
If you take bupe first and then do a full agonist there is no chance of precipitated withdrawals, you will just feel the full agonist (dope) less, depending on duration and dose of bupe you've been on.

Had you taken the dope first and then want to take bupe, you would definitely need to be in withdrawals to dose bupe otherwise you'd get precipitated withdrawals.

Bupe before dope = OK

Dope before bupe = WAIT till you're in WDs from the dope.
 
RabidRabbit hit the nail on the head. YES after using dope or any opiate for that matter, you MUST wait until WD to take suboxone again. Regardless if you've been taking it for 6 years or 6 days. However, I've noticed that after being on subs for awhile that its not hard to wait a full 24hrs after doing the dope. I know I always dreaded waiting for that 18-24hr mark to take the bupe but honestly like I said, when on bupe that long then only doing dope for a day, waiting a full 24hrs even shouldn't be hard at all.
 
i have to disagree, from my experience i never got precipitated WD from a limited, single dose of dope.. i relapsed and used only a 20 mg of oxy in the morning..took bupe at about midnight and i was fine...but if you have been on bupe daily for weeks you should probably wait longer then 24 hours...you wont feel it..i know it varies depending on the person but 24 hours its probably still holding on...why even do it?
 
i did feel something from the bag...so i can't say it was all in vain. like a lot have said here it isn't really that hard to wait awhile after taking bupe for awhile so i'll definitely wait at least 12, probably 24 hrs just to be on the safe side. thanks for the comments and suggestions.
 
Thought id help you out but ya that oxy is damn good make sure u take that sub ew they are gross but lifesavers sometime but they are so gross but ya take that sub real early like 5a.m. or 6a.m. homie and then put that oxy in you nose around umm lets say if u cant wait until the afternoon preferarbly evening but make sure u take a low dose of that shitful sub early if u plan on using later in day ive done it plenty of times and got high plenty of times good stuff etc anyways hope this helps

Ime u gotta wait till ur in WD again but it won't take as long as usual and will b an easier transition than usual. But if u took sub b4 u were sick yes u would get pwd most likely. Ur call whether to risk it or not
 
unless i've missed something? why the fuck are you on bupe (and now withdrawing) when you got no withdrawal from a years worth of everyday heroin?
