Hey everyone I bought some hash the other day and it came as a whole bunch of broken up pieces. Is there an easy way of melting/pressing it all back together into one solid piece?

do you have a garlic press, and the ability to cut a piece of plastic/metal the size of the bottom interior of such a press to cover the holes?

Cuz you got yourself a hash press if you do/can. At least thats what i imagine a stoned macguyver would say ;)

Or you can diy one of these another way or just buy one, you can find them online hella cheap. I got one of a similar design (albiet much lower quality) for like $8 shipped. It works fantastically despite being cheap and not the best quality. Not much to break with a design like that.

If it's soft enough, you can put the pieces together in the palm of your hand for a minute. Then sort of roll it together in circular motion, that worked back in the old days. But seems now alot of hash is super hard and compressed. You might need the press.

The hash is pretty hard and compressed, its morrocan hash and its like the pieces that I got have flaked off a larger piece (hope that makes sense).

Look around the kitchen for a garlic press if you really want to do this. Otherwise, just enjoy as is!

put it between some foil and heat gently until malleable, it should also become sticky, then roll together. enjoy.

^ those presses would also do the job. auction website there is heaps of them. or get a plumber buddy to hook one up.

btw why do you want it into a big ball, wont it need to be broken down into pieces again to smoke?

The only reason to compact it into a single big piece is because the big piece would be pretty to look at. Since you'll inevitably have some mechanical losses when compacting it (hash stuck to whatever implements you used), I'd just keep it as little pieces. Little pieces are more convenient anyway, since you have to cut it up before you smoke it...
