Reins of the Future

Finding peace, understanding the awareness of your soul
Learning to understand your own neurotic mind
That never seems to stop
Learning and changing the soul
Finding your place a home, outside your body and in,
Find your serenity on this summer morning

Timing is right details in my head
Perceiving what is to be and what is not to be
Working on closure
Working on who is who in your life
And who has to be extracted
Journeying back to the past and finding out why
Where, and how come,
Not easy tasks one I never thought I would get to
Final journey, I think not
But maybe an ending to understanding
Though doors already slammed in my face
Expecting more to follow
Feeling the stirring deeply within
Struggling each emotion that comes with
Deep in my soul
Unable to escape what is and what is to come
I feel is another stage another height ness of awareness
Growing pains that ache so severely my head whips in
Juggled mind tearing and ripping and the seams
My sight blinded by the mission ahead but
Still reminding myself of people and beauty around me
Hard to find the balance,
And not get lost in my selfish awareness of
Growing and learning
Mirrored image in the past that still haunt me
Each adventure reminding me what is tangible
And what is out of reach
Challenging my body and mind
Holding on the reins of the future
Lost within my mind

I think this is your best poem for quite a while. I really enjoyed reading it, because I think for a little while there, I felt as close as I could feel to being in your head.
