There's a type of methamphetamine that I frequently run across that's referred to as REI. Does anyone know what this refers to? I'm pretty sure it has to do with the way it's made. It tends to be darker than the Lithium based stuff.

Red Phosphorus, Ephedrine, and Iodine (the RP and I2 make hydriodic acid which is what you use for the reduction of the ephedrine).. the excess RP acts as a catalyst and in a few easy steps you have turned some pyrotechnic powder, some water purification kits, and some cold pills into high-quality crystal meth (well, there is more to it then that) ...
Sadly we don't discuss drug synths on this board...
