I have a question about heroin and the difference in metabolism between a regular user and a non regular user. (Say, one time) Now, I've read that users who have developed a tolerance to the drug metabolize the drug faster and it is excreted and cleared from the body faster. That must mean that people who only use it once retain heroin and its metabolites longer than an addict would. Yet, many sources say that heavy use can be detected in regular user longer than one time users. So wouldn't that mean that it is in the body of an addict longer? Since they use so often? I realize this sounds like a drug testing question, but I'm more concerned about this from a detox perspective. But the only way to know how much and how long the drug sticks in people's systems until they are clean is drug testing. So yes it does involve drug testing. Sorry. I utse and looked everywhere And only found conflicting information everywhere. From pub-med to other shittier forums.
