when i smoked in HS and we had to share cigs, we'd say "deuces" meaning that each person got 2 hits before they had to pass it on.
around here we say deuces to pass a square.
we also always call cigs squares.
and if you want someone to pass it, you say "I got your b's".
and it's normally 3 hit pass

On holiday in italy we met some people from North LA, who called cigarettes stogies. What the fuck is up with that? Stogies?...Fucking Yanks!;)

i have heard that for many years and iam nowhere near cali

A stogie is a cigar dude.

Can you buy loosies at the corner store? (single cigarettes)

I always have to try not to laugh when a crackhead picks out as many single newports as he can get using the coins in the take a penny/leave a penny tray. "You always take penny! You never leave penny! You go now! out of store!"

bwahahaha.

we call "loosies" singles and most places won't sell them anymore. i used to be able to get them at the mini mart down the street for $.25

if i'm short on change, i usually take a penny but rarely leave a penny. i don't do it all the time though. i don't even smoke cigs anymore :p

Yal never seen a loosey? They still got them shits out here. they 35 cents now sometimes.

Anyways stoge aint la slang neither we say that out here but never stogie, na I dont like anything with "ie" at the end but we def. smoke stoges

Do people in Europe in general call cigarettes fags? Or is that an English thing? (sorry if thats like a Irish thing or something and I've made some social faux pas.. I forget in what ways you guys all poke fun at each other and get offended about things in and around the UK. lol)

where i was born people talk VERY retarded (cumbria North England - the Lake District)....its great check it out, you dont get much more slag use than there it almost anther landuage

yan - one
marra - mate/ friend
swig - drink
garn - going
slash - piss/ urinate

(theres loads of madness its in the middle of nowhere....if you think Jordies talk mad, they have nothing on this place)

eg:

''alright marra hows it garn? giz a swig of yan ov them bottles marra, then as garn for a slash'' -

- Greatings dear friend, how are you? May i have a drink of one of those bottles you have my friend, then one must exit to the gentlemen's room.

eg:

1.(verb. divvunt) Don't, e.g. Divn't lowp ower t'yat. = Don't jump over the gate

i lived in scotland (part of the UK, in case you didn't know ;)) and everyone (including myself, after i picked up the vernacular) called them "fags." when i first heard the term, i laughed so fuckin' hard and everyone just kinda looked at me like i was a crackhead or something. then i realized they weren't referring to homos but rather cigs. they also called pussy "fanny" which was another weird concept for me to grasp.

Yeah we say that in the UK.
"Two's me on that zoot, puff puff pass brother!" zoot is joint.
and we say: "Draw me in on that joint" meaning gimme some tokes.

I love the word zoot lol <3
on that same vein, "my lend, my lend" or "I'll shotgun that" meaning pass the joint to me next anyone?

well I live in Hull, but I used to live in London and I probably spend as much time there as I do at home.
I go to Peterborough a lot too to see friends and thats where I first heard the word shotgun hah :)
