-Accenting the first symbol of 2-syllable words. "Well, SHE-yit," "You go to TU-lane or CLIMP-son?"
-Much slower speech, and much more emphasis on greetings. E.g., instead of just "hello," often go over the weather, how your day's gone, etc.
