Hello folks,
Happy to say I had a wicked time in Thailand, tho in all honesty Patong aint the place I would chose to go back to next time - even if I wasnt wiv my mrs. Way to touristy, your hard pushed to find a Thai restaurant menu without foreighn food on it, you get bugged literally every 5 seconds to have a suit made, tuc-tuc, taxi, ping pong show and get offered "marijuana, ice, coke", all of which, barring maybe the yabba, would be fake or worse a sting involving the local bobby and a large bribe. Never once got offered H tho strangely. Sounds like Im whinging tho and I aint - place is amazing. Bangkok too was good, and felt a lot more authentic. Fuckin huge aswell much bigger than london.
I cant say I tried to score, like I said I was with my girlfriend and this was her holiday so I had to make it as nice as possible, which getting busted would of. I can imagine kicking in Thailand - those 8 days or so I probably thought about gear less than I have at all during the last 7 years or so, even though I was reading Junky. Anyway Id be a lot more glad to be back if I had some decent kit but thats gonna have to wait cos Im skint :-(

Bought a bit today not bad for the price , but you need double to get the nod so it works out the same . Theirs no value these days @ if you do get a good price it won't last long .
For proper tackle it's £10 for a .125 . That's real Heroin . If i had alot more money i'm talking Q & up cash it can get cheaper & keep the quality.

Yes indeed mate you do make a fuckin good cuppa T, almost worth travelling 3 hours for! Hope ur well comparde, I texted my man earlier just to enquire about whats goin around and he said 'things are hard, lumpy and shit-hot', which is red rag to a fuckin bull so I'm sure Ill be making the journey imminently, thats despite being skint. Ive got some gold to pawn ;)
As I was saying before Thailand would be a good place to kick I reckon, tho not sure if I'd choose the renowned Tham Krabok temple. I'd defo have to be somewhere supervised tho cos I know left to my own devices Id inevitably try to score when I was rattling, which would either result in me getting the most beautiful kit ever and never coming home, or getting banged up in the Bangkok Hilton, and never coming home. So maybe getting the shit whipped out of me at Tham Krabok would be a good idea. Anyhow thats just a rumour they beat you there, started I believe by Pete Doherty, so most likely a bullshit excuse from a loser. Anyway Im not even contemplating kicking; just saying if I was, I cant imagine a more beautiful, spiritual and inspiring place to do so..
 
Hi Jspun! :) Growing up in San Francisco Bay Area must have been amazing!!! Have you read the book 'Tweek' by Nic Sheff? His book is mostly based around S.F. Really good book!!!

I have scored the last 3 days & each day the gear has been different, i couldn't get weight. The first time i scored i got the ok gear that has the weird cut, it sizzles up for the first line, but its just ok after that. Then the next day i got the crappy old drought gear, the gear that looks good but has no taste & no stone, useless stuff!!! To-day i got the best gear so far but its still a long way off pre-drought gear, but its 'good ok' gear, if you know what i mean! 8(

I am worn out after the weekend!!! I went to Electric Picnic, it was a great weekend!!! :D I even took E's this weekend!!! 8o I hadn't taken an E in over 10 years!!! But they were really nice, very mellow, which suited me fine! I didn't want to get totally mashed! I'm getting too old! But it was an amazing weekend! The weather was gorgeous & the whole festival was brilliant! The Cure were the highlight for me, I totally Love Them!!!! <3 Robert Smith is the man of my dreams!!! <3 They played for 3 Hours & 15 mins!!! And they played an amazing set, loads of their old stuff!!! What a gig!!!

I'm in bits after been on the go all weekend, i'm not able for it any-more!!! ;)

Been reading opiophile a bit and just wondered, has anyone here ever had tar heroin? I know its been spoken of a few times but not sure if anyones actually had any. I think I might of once; twas a few years back and a one off, I scored this stuff which had the consistency of suidgy black hash, and was quite dark brown. As I remember it ran fairly normally on the jimmy and was pretty strong, I was a bout two days into one of many cold turkey attempts back then, and a .6 lasted me a good day. I was just pulling bits off it and chucking them on the foil. My mate had his kit on my glove compartment door which I didnt know, and went to shut it, but I remember we were actually able to recover all of it cos it was in small lumps. Does this sound like tar? And if it was how the hell did it windup in england I wonder? I also remember it tasted ever so strong, vinegary which would be in keeping wiv the descriptions Ive read of tar.
 
Yeah i posted recently about it....mine was quite dark not sticky but in a lump that was a bit squidgy. You had to burn off the AA (the vinagre) and produced prodicious plumes of stinking fumes but once that was done - and hardly any volume was lost it was fucking strong, at the time I had a g a day habit and .2 of this got me wasted. Its full of 6MAM and to a lesser extent 3 MAM which actually makes it a different substance to heroin - but in name only .

Really surprised you didnt/couldnt score in Bangcock or elsewhere in TH but if yer with your missus I know how difficult that can make it. Ust to be sold in straws the longer thge straw the more it cost but worked out at about $10 a g if you knew the right people (other travellers are the ones to talk to) or any price they thought they cud get away with. Always CW never see brown.

Im not convinced what I had was tar, although I suppose what the hell else could it be? When you had your tar, was that in England? Its a shame we cant get it over here I reckon, cos I think it'd be right up my street. But then I suppose, like brown, theres tar and theres tar, and a fuckin huge range in quality.

I didnt try to score in Thailand, I said I was offered "coke, ice and marijuana" every 5 mins, but never once heroin. I think most of these guys were almost certainly selling bogus drugs - cryststalline deoderant is sold as ice, talcum powder etc as coke, and anything organic and leafy as weed. The 'dealers', many of them taxi and moped drivers, caught in posession of these fake drugs cannot be prosecuted unless a direct complaint is made, which is highly unlikely. And theres plenty of pissed up tourists around to rip off, it must be childs play. So no, I didnt try to score, as I said - it would of been fuckin selfish in this case and could well of eneded in disaster. However, had I wanted to score, I dont think it would of been hard, with a bit of common sense and care, though Patong I dont think is the best place to get decent drugs as a tourist. Rather would go up in the mountains somewhere that opium is smoked semi-legally, and sold.

Hi Ructs.

Keep looking babe. The good stuff is very light off white colour & is rocky. It's much better than the stuff that was from Tallaght.

That's probably the "China White" I was told about. Maybe a trip to Dublin is due afterall! Is it as good as the pre-drought gear?

Awesome to hear you getting on an E Ructions! Although I have never met you, I can imagine you on a mellow E, bet you're dead cute! It's nice to have a change init? And brown on the comedown is just delightful!!!
 
@Papaver Som pleased you had a good holiday, when I heard you were going with the misuss I was worried that you might bugger things up either through fiending the whole time or scoring and making a dick out of yourself! So well done sir! Surprised to hear you think over there would be a good place to kick...too much temptation surely??

But aside from that, muchos respect for having a proper holiday, it's tough for us lot when taking the other half abroad. Such fucking brown obsessed minds can make life hard for the family!

Anyways I will say it again, I'm back on subutex, stabilised on 10mg, ZERO cravings, some thoughts of it but not obsessive ones, and only been back on it for 2 weeks so I still get a nice mood lift / anti-depressant kick....also benzos, bud and booze can help when I need a real kick! Peace everyone<3

thanks, it was indeed a good holiday but with a place like Thailand, 9 days is really just a fleeting visit, it just felt like a teaser really. A wicked 9 days but not long enough to do anything other than the bare minimum. When I say it'd be a good place to kick, know what u mean re temptation, but like I said, those 9 days I probably thought about doing gear or rather had less inclination to do gear than at any period over the last 7 years or so during my addiction. Its such a beautiful, special and spiritual place that I can well imagine having enough distractions there to keep my mind occupied during the recovery phase. And there are enough remote places there where drugs would not be easily available that even if you succombed to temptation, you wouldnt necessarily be able to score. Having said that, if I went there to kick, knowing me I would probably have to go out with a bang and sample some of the finest Burmese gear available first, and if I were to do that, who knows, maybe I'd never stop!
 
Fuck me a year goes fast! This time last year I was getting off my valium script! Been pretty good at keeping of them!

Wish I could say more about my gear use. Chipping since got off Subutex, but really im just playing a losing game. :|

I'm defo on the wagon mate, have been for ages now! im on a diaz script because my usage was way out of control and i ended up in hospital, began my taper at 30mgs and i'm now at 4mgs, so that is going quite well, fucking hard at times as well though
 
Ended up in hospital? Have a seizure or something, happened to me when I tried to cut down WAY to fast.

I personally found once I started a script for Valium it was pretty painless to get off. But good to hear your doing so well, as your finding it a wee bit harder.

What about ur dark use? Some lovely white cream powdery stuff about, very fine powder. stuff about, but sizes can be bit naughty. :\
 
The dark got pretty shit my ways, stopped that ages ago, the dark is all shit when you have a habit because you need it just to function.

Didn't have a seizure, i was found unconsious laying in the street!
