My fella got his cash back yesterday, went to court and proved it was his sons weddings saving's ? FUCKING RESULT !

Got a bit off him, and it's the same pucker bit. But with some fucking rotten sugary cut , In the first run , why , why why have they got to do this shit. ?
I'm fucking stoned but pissed off , it don't seem to last/run on the jimmy as should aswell. Something's wrong.

You should be happy you can get stoned my friend nearly a year and a half now or is it more and beleave me it'd getting worse
 
yup! we all been here nearly a year and a half now
that means the elusive harvest has been and gone and missed us this year
maybe we will have better luck with the next one
there is good out there-not much and massively expensive
I remember way back in about 98,when the price of gear fell overnight from £45 a gram to £20 a gram
everyone thought this had to be shit
it was different-lighter in colour and usually rocky but it worked and everyone was happy and habits grew to accommodate this surge in the market
since then things have been mostly stable until this thing started and we seem to have returned to where we were before
bizarre how things work out
I will be going to jail in about 6 weeks and I will be glad for the opportunity to detox
I always said it would be the only way I would ever get clean
as much as I am obviously dreading it-i know it's the right time and the right thing to do
 
Hi all! :) Remember some of us were talking about someone posting way back at the start of the drought that it takes 18months from harvest for heroin to hit our streets? Well i found that post! It was Mitch that said it. here is a link, its post 267 & 274:

As far as Dublin is concerned i think that Mitch could be right! Coz the gear STILL hasn't landed yet!!! :!

Its was driving me mad trying to find that post! 8( Can't believe that i found it! Its so weird reading back over the old threads, there are posts from Evad, he was such a top bloke! & there are posts from The Big Man, i hope he is doing ok! & Jaysus there is a hell of a lot of bitching as well! Dark times!

Anyway if it took 18 months for things to return to normal then things should improve by Dec 2012?! Is that right??? Say the harvest was last June, then 18months later is December! Holy Crap!!!! I give up..........

If that were correct though, then we'd only be seeing the start of the drought about now/over the last 2 or 3 months. And that just aint the case is it?! It's been raging for a good 14 months or so!

I don't know, it's a proper headfuck.
 
I remember xmas 2010 being very bleak with nothing about, not even bash. At the time we thought give it a month or 2 then normal service would resume. Apparently not.
There is good gear about as I've been getting some but they only got an oz of it and I don't know if they can pick up more of this good gear.
After such a long wait it is bliss to have a proper bit of gear.
Only thing is - is that if a year of shite couldn't make me quit the gear then I don't think anything ever will.
Be lucky people. Won't it be great to see a post from Ructions one day saying she has finally got decent gear,poor lass has had a fucking long wait.
 
@ Hooks Yeah thats a very good point, i'm gonna give up even trying to figure this drought out!

@ Maxalfie, i can't wait to get my hands on some proper gear, the stuff over here is all rubbish!


Here is a clip off a Dublin radio station were they are taking the piss out of Heroin users, its fairly stereo typical, its called "Scum Dine with Me"

Its starts off with a supposed heroin addict saying "Alright, my names Micka, I'm into fine dining & gear"

Its funny for all of about 10 seconds & then goes down hill from there, Dublin people have a really low opinion of heroin users, i know its just a joke, but still we're not all brain donors! ;)

(P.S. Not many Dublin people have an accent like in this clip, although i have to admit that i know a few people who do talk like that!!! Hehehe!)

Bizzare indeed .
I too remember when the price of weights went down almost as you say overnight.
Many people got their first proper habbits around this time .
The country was flooded n crack was starting to take off big style .
Then their was the the drought in 2001 do you remember that ?
Not like this .
It was just impossible to get anything for a while n this was when waiting lists for methadone scripts were 6 months .

If you had told me then that it 2012 it would be nigh on immpossible to get a consistent source of proper gear i woulda laughed .

I just got paid in gear, got a nice ten for free :)

It was a decent size, about .3 I'd say. It cooked up nicely, I just had one dig and got a nice hit, gouching nicely atm. It's been OK in Newcastle recently, it hasn't really gotten close to being back to normal but it's a little more consistant. The quality is probs around 7-8 on average, occasionally its really nice but not always. The size seems to be OK with all 3 of my contacts, quality is around about the same between the 3 but this guys is usually always the best. I've had some total shite last week that barely gave me a knock, I would of digged a full bag and all I would get it slightly pinned eyes. Luckily I don't have a real habit at the min, I've managed to stick to my script for the most part so tolerance isnt a huge issue anymore. Still though, things are not quite the same and Ive yet to buy any weight, its still 70 a teen but apparently the quality is good. Will report back if I manage to get my hands on one
 
Just a little update:

I'm back up to three contacts now; two who's product I've tried and the other who texted me at 18:30 to say she's stocking up shortly and will be on from around 8pm onwards. Of the two who's product I've tried, I can say its the best I've scored in over a year - although the sizes leave a lot to be desired, but for what it lacks it size it certainly makes up for it quality. Needless to say this is just my opinion.

I'm very interested in trying the product of my other contact who's stocking up tonight, as this is the same contact I was scoring from in May of 2011 and who's product was the closest to pre-drought that I've ever come across. They've been off since early June of 2011 because they wouldnt take anything inferior to what they normally sell, and since they're back on now after all this time I'm very interested in sampling some. I cant get any cash until Monday so I've asked them for a bag on lay but I havent heard anything back. I'll certainly be giving them a call come Monday, regardless.

Had the guts of a bag earlier but didnt get to fully enjoy it given the circumstances in which I was smoking it, but I was more than happy with the quality. Thank jaysis I have little to no physical addiction to this shit any more though, otherwise I'd be ripping my teeth out by now. Oh the boredom, though...cant find a job, and I cant seem to keep busy...the nights are the worst these weeks as I still cant sleep properly and I'm starting to over analyse everything :/ Anyway...hope you are all well.

@cockneyirish: check your PM's pal - they're full too, by the way so you might want to delete one or two there as I cant reply until you do.

sleepless nights are def not good for you
after quitting gear it can take 6 months to be able to sleep properly again so really you have to find something to do-computer games are good cos you can really get into them and it keeps your hands busy too
turning things over and over in your mind and getting things out of proportion and all twisted
sound familiar?
alas,there aren't many drugs you can take to help this
benzos will help every now and then but you build up a tolerance pretty quick and that's a habit you don't want
zopiclone/zimmovane only help in the short term too
best thing you can do is use benzos one night,Zopis the next,an antihistamine the next then a natural (sleepless) night or 2
then repeat the cycle-gives a little relief anyway

Yeh I know the style / type that you mean. They do indeed detect the presense of H but unfortunately they do not give the % of purity that the powder.

For example, the chemical turns blue if H is in there and you have 2 different batches, let's say batch a and batch b. we already know that both batches weigh 10g each. Batch a has 1g of H in it and 9g of chalk whereas batch b is pure 10g of H. The tests that you have seen both show that H is present, because it is, but without already knowing the ratios we would be none the wiser as to which one is the stronger / purer as they both turn blue.... Make sense?

What I thought you were describing was something to determine level of purity in a cheap test which would have been great, never mind thou.

Insomnia is really the worst of it all. Depression comes in a close second, but insomnia fucks your mind up on an entirely separate and all together more dangerous level.

My main just stocked up, dropping two down in ten minutes. That'll mean an hour minimum with this fuck - but its until monday and frankly I didnt expect to be scoring until then anyway. I'll report back on quality shortly.

Yeah there seems to be a lot of gear around Dublin at the moment, a guy i hadn't heard from in ages rang me at the weekend saying he had 'proper gear' & i also got text off our mate to night saying he is back on. Also i guy i often score off rang me during the week to say he has a new much stronger batch.

So i have tried 2 out of 3, & yes as i said on here earlier in the week there is a bit of an improvement, but its still rubbish gear! The gear we have been getting since the drought was so poxey that it wouldn't be hard to improve on it, but this new batch is still crap! Well its crap compared to what i was getting before the drought anyway!

One of the guys i score off is a 50 year old man, he has been using heroin for 30 years! & he had the cheek to tell me that this was proper pre drought gear! I thought he would know better?! But i suppose they'll say anything to sell their gear! He was charging more for it & the deals were smaller, so i thought to myself that it must be good! Coz i know when things started improving in the UK the the price went up & the size went down. But my Boyfriend & i were really disappointed :( There really is fuck all of an improvement! Well thats my Dublin Up-date anyway, i scored this 'new batch' from both North & south Dublin.

I'm really thinking of just sticking to my methadone for the next few months, i'm sick of all the disappointments!
 
You might be better off dear - its just not worth the bother, still.

This stuff I've just picked up isn't anywhere near as good what I can get with cash off the other three guys, but I'd still take it if I had nothing else - after a couple of glasses of wine. I'll be scoring from my cash fellow on monday instead, and I'll keep this other bag to tide me over the likely bore of a weekend ahead of me.

God help me.

It told you within 5% on a colour chart on the tube from blue to green i think, the darker the blue the stronger the gear
