just finishing watching the 6 series of OZ again over the last week of sleepless nights, where they called the heroin tits? anyone know why? they seeem to get them in little glass bottles. is this true of the american prisons or a gross exaggaration.? as what ive heard and seen in uk prisons is shite. and led me into thinking what it mkust be like for people banged up in hmp at the moment, prison gear always low strengh cack, but now it must be total total crap.


pleased for u brimz been a while now since ive had anything half decent, and gonna be a while to do., but not overly keen of people who peddle smack while not a user themselves, think its pretty callous, but i guess they do it to pay for another habit. but if just for finanical gain i think its pretty bad. most users sell on small scale simply to keep there habit going, or steal to pay for it, but to peddle smack, just for pure profit is bad. but hey no one is perfect huh

I have seen folk doing their service on Sunday at the Cemetary when i went 2 My Dads . I thought it was really nasty that they make you wear a bib with Criminal on it . Obviously thats not exactly what it said but it may of well, i would have thought they would let you keep some Dignity

Recently had close friend pass away so have not left the house apart from to go to work. Not scored for 8 days now which is the longest I've gone without since about start of year. No cash till Friday so am like you KKat just counting down the days until I can score again.
Just hope the wait is worth it.

Try your best to keep it up, but I can fully appreciate that it's not going to be easy considering the circumstances

If you can get to Friday and remember the positive reasons why not using is for the best, then it will be a massive achievement.

I'm not from the UK, but being a tad obsessed with all things opiate, I've been reading these threads fairly regularly , and I'm glad for you guys that it sounds like your drought is coming to an end. Can't imagine how absurdly frustrating it must have been to not be able to get a decent nod on all year.

I'm curious though, in your experience has this drought spurred many people to quit? I see you guys constantly referencing others who keep using out of desperation even though all the product is trash, but are there others out there who've used the chance to distance themselves from the drug? It doesn't sound like it from reading these threads, but I'm sure anyone who was doing so wouldn't be posting here in the first place. Is methadone clinic attendance up, in your experience?

I'm also surprised you haven't seen a growing pharmaceutical scene. It seems like anybody who could obtain and move morphine or similar would have made a killing on reliable, high quality opiates. Or even somebody synthing and selling fentanyl to fill the gap. There's obviously a huge demand there, I'm surprised that by the sounds of it nobody stepped up to fill it.

There's definitely a big enough scene for pharmaceutical opioids; morphine and fentanyl as you mentioned, plus oxycodone, pethidine and whatever resourceful people can get their hands on. Unfortunately nowhere near enough to fill the gap evidently, plus most of it would seem massively overpriced to someone with a massive habit, especially if they're using on top of a script.

There were some rumours about adulterated fentanyl on the streets in one of the early threads but I don't know if any of these were substantiated.

Already verison 12- 12,000+ posts. Alot has traspired since I've started posting here from the beautiful Big island of Hiwaii and was baffeled that Europe, UK and Eire inparticular were having a drought. Back then I bet that the drough was gonna be a few months long. Just went to the story to get some wine and a burrito. Today is monday night American fooltball so on the way to I saw three police cruisers. I was on the limit and had taken some soma, benzos, sub, ect...so was thinking of an evasive tactic to take side streets home. The other side of my thouroughfare is curvey and easy to get lost, but i said "what the fuck". The minte I turened, there was a police car waiting on that side street (it appears the law got wise to that tactic). So I'm driving, and driving, hitting dead ends, in a hurry to get home before soma coma sets in. After litterally going through a maze, I found a major thouroughfare. I took it thinking I buy pased the cops- but it dumped me right behing all three cops so I had to charge it. (fyi, to increase the paranoia meter-there was a police helicopter driving with the lights out while I was lost. Anyway, I had now choice but to take my chances. Passed the 3 patrol/ DUI cars, did my best to stay b/w the lines and not swerve. Drive slightly over the speedlimit and I made it home safe. Either they didn't recognize my car as taking evasive action or they didn' have probable cause to pull me over. Either way, it was nerve wracking and I'm chillin out with a glass of wine.

no end in sight to the drought as far as i'm concerned, and its nearly 1 year now, the only time ive seen proper heroin is from a small opp, just bringing in a enough heroin to last a week or so, just for a few people to knock out. there has been nothing else remotely in my town oir surronding areas that cud put my hand on my heart and say its even 1/3rd rate heroin, in the near year of the drought, ive can say about in that time 1month has been heroin the other near 11months just low low grade cack. even to point u cant taste nor smell it when u run it, even IV it feels artificial, seems wholoe of europe out of smack, and gonna be sum time before its full up again, before there was decades of consant supply, now it has to be totally refilled, dont think it will be as once was for many a year

and what sort of punishment are u likely to get if ur busted and found with say half ounce, ? i ask as we get alot of usa tv here and im lead to beleive usa is quite tough on crimianls? but guess want to know if thats the expression they want us to think or is it true?

Its the exact same here in Dublin Xmitch! Its unreal that the drought has lasted so long. Before the drought I went for years of been lucky enough to have my gear delivered to my door, & it was always good gear at that! But now i have to search from town to town & always ending up with the VERY same gear no matter were i go! It always weak! There has been the odd improvement, but it never went back the way it was & it never lasted!

Its taken a while, but now 10 months later i'm really thinking of given up the search! I know i should take advantage of the situation, but it is hard to give up looking coz surely things have to get back to normal soon? Or maybe not! The thing that worries me most is the if i did come across proper gear i would be so relieved that i would probably keep using until i'd spent every penny i own! I would deffo end up losing our (rented) house this time, i'm still paying back my landlord money i owe him from before the drought! My kids would hate to have to move, so maybe i should give up the search while i can.......

ructions and mitch i feel for you not bein able to get decent gear it would do my nut . I know it is shit in gloucester but i can get decent gear if i pay through the nose so it is a bit of a releif , i know there is old achool gear up brum cause i smoked it from mid jan to july
but lost the connection so can get the same stuff local but over double the price nightmare when will it all end

Should I switch over to smoking hash and taking 25mgs of Diazepam daily instead of smoking heroin daily? I've just realised it kills my depression almost as equally as the latter. Living with the depression is an exercise in futility; not an option at all I'm afraid. Threw my anti-depressants in the bin the other day - 15 types havent worked so far over the 7 years and now I near the end of what the HSE can do for me.

Move this if needed, of course; didn't know whither to start a new thread or not.

The trade on the west coast is almost exclusively run by mexican gangs or single unaffiliated dealers with ties to cartels. On the East Coast, Colombians bring it in with cocaine and Dominicans sell it on the street or to black (D-boys) were its called Diesel. I'm not familiar with that scene in that I only have knowledge from BL. In San Diego specifically, you have the unique situation of users crossing the border and hooking up in the Tijuana open market. A few bring back small quantities and sell to their friends or associates (there are a small number of these- small time). To get weight, someone would have to be connected or affiliated. The penalties are very strict as far as I can tell but that in the case of mexican undocumented nationals our prisons are so crowded that often times they just deport them if its a first offense or not some large scale operation. The prisons in California are so overcrowded, and the state is so broke, that the US supreme court ordered that a number of prisoners be released, the overcrowding was considered such a violation of human rights, which was a suprising move.

Anyway, this is the state of things to my best knowledge, on sub so don't actvely use anymore. Alot of info I get from BL or the meeting I used to attend more concientiously.

1/2 oz, without a very good lawyer and your probably looking at 3-5 years minimum, this is just a guess, but its probably somewhere in that range, cannabis, whoever is much more tolerated.

Thanks monstanoodle,I wish I could say that when Friday arrives I won't score but I don't think I can do it.
I am not clucking as on a methadone script, but it's the boredom I struggle with. I also find that I need to feel a chemical change in my brain. I have had to alter the way my head feels with Stella up to this point.
I think a lot of heroin addicts use alcohol to replace heroin when they stop using, but it just doesn't cut it for me.
But am gonna see how I feel on Friday,could really do with saving some cash so would be good idea to avoid the gear if I can.

Day 11!!!
All I have to do now is go give my sample and come back n smoke the gear I brought yesterday,so that I wouldn't have to wait today.
So,I did it.Longest I've gone without gear since I quit,for a few months,about 6years ago
will be binging proper for the next few days then same process again.

I asked for a urine test,cos usually i get a mouth swab but i wanted to see the results right away;plus last time I did 6 days clean,the mouth swab still came back dirty
That's why I left it so long this time
And the urine test still gave a fine line for +heroin!!!
I told her I hadn't used for 11 days and she marked it as - for heroin as the other marks,for methadone and benzos were really clear lines
She said I looked better for it,and tbh I felt much better,apart from waking up the past 2-3 days in a sweaty bed,with sneezes,yawns with watery eyes and stomach cramps
Having a smoke on return was the business tho-gonna binge for a few days then fast again
No good reason why my body hangs onto the gear for so long
Had LFTs and everything was fine-in fact,I have them every month cos of being on methotrexate so we know it's not my lethargic liver to blame
*My only theory as for why this happens to me,is that as the gear remains in your saliva and urine,so it stays in your poo too.
As you stay quite constipated when using methadone,I can only imagine that the gear in your poo gets reabsorbed via the small intestine/bowel,back into your blood stream until it is all out.I only really had a good clear out in the last 2 days.So,maybe thiss is why it takes so long for it to clear my system
If I want to do give more 'cleans',I need to work on filling my time.Having little to do is a strain and makes time drag,but considering my potential sentence,I don't want to just waste that time either

Hello all. It's been ages since i've last posted. I've still been keeping up 2 date with everyones fortunes and misfortunes!
There was not much point in postin d same story over and over bout how crappy d gear still is round here and d country.

There's plenty of stuff to b got but as ructions knows only 2 well, it's still pretty weak.
I can get a bit of a buzz from it if i give it a break 4 a few days but d bags r small and people r still takin d piss by chargin 30euro 4 dem.

D only good thing bout d weak gear is that the sickness is easier to bear, and thats obvious proof how weak d gear is.

I was also wondering if anyone knew if there is a certain amount of times the cops can bring u in 4 a search without finding anything on u.
I was brought in 4 a search last nite cos i was talking to another user on d street and that was d second time in 2 months i've been brought in.
I've never been caught with anything r have never been in court.

I didn't think they cud keep doin this? Dunno if the law is different 4 this in d UK than Ireland.
Maybe they've nothin better to do, but I don't want to b part of them just passin d time.
They never gave me 2 much hassle wen d gear was plentiful.
Typical Ireland tho, always getting stuff arse ways.
