Hi Father Itsssss ok, just ok. The guy i got it off was building it up for the last two weeks but it wasn't as good as he made it out to be. In saying that it is the best that i've got since the start of the drought. It looks & burns really well & there is a good strong taste off it, but its still missing something!

I took my time smoking it, then after i finished it i fell asleep, i wasn't nodding out i just fell fast asleep! So there could be a lot of tablets in it me thinks! Its no where as good as what i was getting before the drought, but compared to some of the stuff that i have been getting through out the drought it is better!

Now that i'm awake again i'm gonna have another tray & see how it goes! I can't believe i conked out for two hours in the middle of the day! 8( I wouldn't normally sleep in the day time, although i was tired as i'd had a rough week in work! But i still have a felling that there could be tablets in the gear, i'll report back later!

Had a right result tday - normal fella is a way til next week so started calling up a few mates and met up with one who said he could get some but it wasnt as good as what we wre normally getting so get a few shot bags - slight taste on the first smoke but then lovely just heated and smelled the smoke and it was ace just like old times opiumy/smack smell..so after about 1.5 shot bags i was nodding hard. I know Charlie, its a real pain in the arse at this stage!!! I really thought that this was it this time, i knew it would be really strong pre-drought gear, but i did think it would be a good second best! I have finished my second tray now & i'm not exactly stoned, i'm fairly relaxed but i'm not as stoned as i should be! I haven't taken my methadone since yesterday morning so its not that that is blocking it, aw i give up!

I have two mates that use, they are boyfriend & girlfriend & they think that i'm being too fussy! They are happy with it, but it seems to me that they would be happy with any old crap! If i'm not stoned then i'm not stoned, end of story! My Boyfriend feels the same about it as i do. As i say it is the best that i've had since the drought, but its still not as good as what i was getting before the drought!

I actually had pondered on visiting the emerald isle for that purpose,but being on bail,and seeing how tough the irish borders are,i postponed that plan indefinitely
as have others,i expect

Just spoke with my man and he says there is gear out there but the big players are holding it back to push up the prices

I only got scripted for the first time last week but for the last year I've been really lucky and have never been in a position where I had any less than 100ml stashed. To be honest all the scumbag type junkies I've ever met are scripted and the kind of people who aren't are not the kind of people who are likely to commit crimes. From what I've seen hardened junkies only take meth' for a free drug rather than a serious alternative to kit.

I know Hooks, this is gone way beyond a joke at this stage! I remember back in January when we all finally excepted that we would have to wait until the next harvest, the summer seemed to take forever to come! All of us on Bluelight were trying to work out how long it would take to get the poppy from harvest to heroin, & then we wondered how long it takes to get from Afghanistan to UK & Ireland. We were kind'a hoping it would take no longer then 6 or 8 weeks to get from harvest to our streets, but maybe 6 to 8 weeks was way off? I remember someone saying in a posting back then that it can take up to a year for the whole process before it gets to our streets, i can't remember who posted that but we all thought he was crazy at the time, but it stuck in my mind coz he went into some detail & he did seem to know what he was talking about. Looks like that poster might have been right!

A good few of my mates scored the same gear as i did yesterday & they are all really happy with it, seems like i was the only one who was not overly impressed with it! But they also agree that its not as good as what we were getting before the drought, but its the best since the drought. This is were i'm getting confused, is this stuff considered to be good gear now? When people say that they have good gear should i just assume that they mean good gear considering there is a drought? Or do they mean they have proper gear like we had been getting for the years running up to the drought? 8(

If what i got last night is gonna be as good as it gets then i can't see myself been drawn to it in the way that gear used to draw me in, & that is probably a really good thing! The gear i got is real take it or leave it stuff, its the kind'a stuff that i would be able to score once every two weeks & the not miss it in-between. But the gear i was scoring before the drought, especially the gear that was around up to about 4 years ago had me hooked! I would have gone without anything just to have some, i was a slave to the stuff but i didn't mind at all. The gear got all my money but it gave me a peaceful mind in return! The gear i got last night did eventually get me stoned after i smoked enough of it, but it didn't do what gear used to do for me!

I wonder what will happen with heroin? Will it ever get back to the way that it was? I just can't imagine it at this stage........

That's my big worry now. I actually have the cash to score 2day but I haven't - it just aint worth it! The time, fuel and effort just to get some very average stuff is a joke. And a year from harvest to getting here? I can't EVER seeing it going back to what we once considered normal. I think what people are calling good gear now is how its gonna stay. The dealers and big shots have had a long time to get used to stamping on anything half decent for maximum profit and will carry on doing it. Despite obviously falling sales. Don't make sense to me but if they're making the same amount of cash from selling absolute crap then why shud they change?

If things stay like this then I can see myself being clean soon. I'm scoring less and less as it is. Remember when you'd score and they dealer wud say 'be careful you don't go over with this stuff' and I'd be like 'yeah, whatever' and it really wud be strong stuff? Don't think that's ever going to happen again. Sadly.

Gear used to be a good thing to take. Not any more. Until it does become a good thing to take again I think I'm out.

Trying to find a link i saw yesterday about massive amounts of gear moving in to russia and surronding countries (opiumm production was up 60% this year) its not getting here as the distribution network is fucked and its so much easier getting it across land borders. So hang on to your connects if you have them - i dont see direland picking up anytime soon apart from a few chancers.

Hang in there Ructs,it will be back.I thought things would never get back to normal,but the 'silk cut' gear seams a thing of the past.I can get good off a few dif people for .35 on average for £20 but the £90 eigths aren't here yet.6 months ago i was in a state of mind like yourself.

Picked up a 1/4 on Friday , it's funny lookingear,light tan colour, came in a rock, when I crushed it up there's loads of black specks in it, and you sometimes get a little sparkle like you would from glass ? Very fucking odd.
But the gear is strong, taste nice and holds ya fine. Have cut right down on the boozing and still gettin a proper goof off it. Even my mrs who cunts off almost everything rates it. So all in all I'm very happy with it, just looks a bit strange and still costing more. Anyone else come across this ?

500 miles away and that's what I've been getting. It comes in a solid rock, has black specks and some sugary looking bits which reflect the light. candies up into a nice chocolatey brown colour and it does the job. Seems to be a good bit of it going about.

Yeah i had that stuff its as strong the best i been getting tbh. When you cook it up theirs little black bits really small mind , init.
As long as you filter it properly its fine , i did smoke some , didn't come across the sparkley bits , but the colour & black bits ring bells. I got it at a v.reasonable price

My own theory about the hat is that because he shaves his head, when the hair grows back like stubble it creates a velcro effect with his hat. I was quite surprised when I found out that the actor who plays Adebisi is English. I've worked with a couple of African guys in the past and can say honestly that his African accent is spot on. Also the 2 O'Reillys really are brothers.

@ Hooks: I've been quite lucky, I've been getting decent gear since April now.

@Ructions: I don't care what anyone says, taking meth' does affect your tolerance. If you're on 60ml a day you could smoke a TB of Afgan's finest and not get that powerful, head like an anvil gouch that we all crave. To get a strong gouch I believe you'd have to chuck all opiates for at least a month to ditch the tolerance.

I still get good at old prices every so often n then shit again no constinency at all.
I have yet to come across folk sellin it at top price for garunteed good stuff, just normal price take a gamble.

Yeah, but there's people on here who are on meth' and then getting their hands on decent kit and expecting a good strong gouch. That aint gonna happen. Meth' is an opioid so it must in part contribute to one's tolerance tho.
