Hey everyone, haven't posted in a while but it's safe to say that the gear has been the same where I've been scoring (North Dublin) in the last few months. Admittedly, I'm probably getting the lower-grade stuff but I don't mind too much because it still gets me stoned (my tolerance is low/non-existent and I'm not on meth).

One thing I have to ask though is if prices have gone down in Ireland? I was reading a newspaper article that said you could get a q for as low as 12 euro now, if that's the case I'm being ripped off at 20 euro a bag and I should probably shop around!

Also, I don't know if anyone has said anything about this so correct me if you already know but I'm after reading that the two heroin-related deaths in Cork a few months ago were not a consequence of a high-purity batch! http://www.independent.ie/national-...t-due-to-lethal-batch-tests-show-3253767.html

I do find it a bit outrageous that Gardai said heroin purity varied between 45 and 85 per cent though. 8) Any chance the filth will introduce me to their dealers eh?

Hi Class-A-team! How are you?! No you wouldn't normally get 0.2 for €12, although the gear that has been around the last two years should be half the price coz its half the strength!

Class A you must be using for around a year now, its starting to become a habit for you. Even the scoring and smoking part itself becomes a habit after a whle. IF heroin ever goes back to the way it was before the drought you'll see a huge difference in strength. If I was you i'd get away from heroin before its too late. With the gear been so weak now it doesn't feel dangerous taking it, you feel in control. But if proper heroin comes back you'll loose all control very quickly.

Would you not take benzos instead? They are also very addictive but they are a lot cheaper & they are probably stronger the the gear going around Dublin the last two years. Or do you smoke grass (my Son goes mental when I call it grass, he calls it weed. But I think weed sounds very American) you would probably get more of a buzz out of grass & in my opinion grass is harmless. I haven't used gear in over a month, but it has taken me two years to break the habit of scoring & smoking, I have wasted thousands of €uro on weak gear coz I couldn't break that habit.

Sorry for lecturing you class A, but I hate seeing you wasting your money on the crap thats around & I'm worried about what will happen to you if the drought ever ends. Your so young, don't get dragged down by gear before your life has even started!

Do you take E's? I used to go out and take E's with my mates when I was your age, now that is FUN!!! Much better then hiding in a room smoking heron on your own....

Just read some bad news for everyone out there.
Police have arrested 2 British lorry drivers in Italy who were on their way to Lancashire.
They had £16million worth of high quality heroin hidden in a load of bread sticks.
Could be a sign though that some organisations have finally pulled their finger out and are trying to resolve the lack of decent heroin in the country.

Yes MaxAlfie maybe things are starting to move again. The drought hit this exact time two years ago. This time last year I was sure things would get back to normal. I thought that if the gear had ran out in November then they must restock around that time too. So maybe the proper gear will return soon? I'm afraid!!! I have never both WANTED and NOT wanted something so much in my life!!! 8(

No you don't want it Ructions mate. You've done so well lately, getting out of the habit of scoring is part of the battle you have won.
Read your post to Class A about what is likely to happen when quality gear lands there and take the advice that you have given to Class A.
You don't want to slip back into the lifestyle if possible.

Hi MaxAlfie, yes I should take my own advice! I'm good at giving it but not taking it! I worry about Class A coz she is so very young, I couldn't have coped with a heroin habit at that age. Plus she has only ever used drought gear so I'd love to see her stop before the proper gear comes back. She is a lovely intelligent girl, I'd hate to see heroin getting a hold of her.

As for me, I'm over the hill at this stage! I'm glad that I haven't used in the last month coz of the money that I have saved. But I'm not ready to give up heroin for good. I'm counting the days down to xmass coz I plan to score then, but maybe by then I won't bother. But I doubt it coz that is all that I'm living for at the moment. I am surprised at myself for NOT scoring coz the last two weeks have been a nightmare, everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. I'm having such bad luck its like I'm jinxed, I'm not just moaning, some really bad stuff has happened, not getting my methadone in the chemist last weekend is tiny in comparison to all the other stuff that is going on. So I am amazed with myself for not scoring!!! I have a lot of money worries so I guess that is what is stopping me! I'll stay away from gear for a while longer anyway!

Yes you have done really well so far Ructions mate.
I wouldn't blame you at all if you did score if quality gear ever shows up. Only you will know when and if you are truly ready to give up the gear.
My best mate and I both started using gear at the same time and at one stage his habit was way worse than mine but he was ready to quit 3 years ago, he hasn't had even a little toot in all that time.
I wasn't ready to give up when he did, it took me another 3 years to feel the way I do now.
So I understand that you can only give up when you truly want to and sometimes that day may never come.
But just enjoy your time without using now and if you happen to use again then its not the end of the world.
It's good you're sharing your experience with Class A and I hope she listens to you, you don't want to see a young girl end up on gear if you can help her.

Getting pale hard rock thats lush - the tooter stuff runs just like the gear, just gonna spend my last 30 on 3 bags then have to wait till mon cash day

Got a touch .5 for 35 quid as it was the last of it i want to save it all for tomorrow as got the house to myself but already had 7-8 lines in the bog at work. Gonna try and get a nice lump on monday but its sooo dear, still quality over quantity every time.

don't think my feet have ever swollen from methadone.
don't know how i got thru winter 2010 with no gear. think it was the number of layers i used to wear, and the fact that it was so cold i didn't sweat at all.
the sweat when you don't smoke its horrible

Had 2 yesterday & you know where I live.

smoked 1 bag & was very nice, the 2nd bag i smoked half & shot the rest. The gear was very dark in colour & had a very strong fish taste.

very nice & far better than anything around I have seen of late.

I remember once I tried injecting into one of my feet, fuck it hurt like hell.
Just breaking the skin with the pin was bad enough,only got a bit of gear in and noticed the vein blowing out a bit so stopped.
Never went near my feet again.

I seem to have some kind of oxy luck .....the other day I found 1/2 of one in my laptop that gets carted around in a bag and it went from home to work and home again and there it was as i opened it. Then today ibve been at home all day smoked about .3 ahd 2 blues and just stood up from the sofa which ive been up n down from all day and there in the middle ws a little green pill - perfect as i have nothing now until monday (if he has anything as he;s about 80% reliable but im not too fussed as its never more than a day and i got my phy tabs.
So now when it comes to 10-11pm and im coming down i got 2 fat lines to look fwd to-which is nice

Its great when you find stuff, I can honestly say in 20+ years i have never lost any gear, but i have been lucky a few times. The best one was finding a dealers stash in some wall where i was working, got a 1/4 oz of brown. The other times have ben when ive been scoring and dealers have got in my car either pissed or wired and dropped stuff

back in the day i would have loved to have been a cleaner in the clubs i used to go, probably wouldnt needed to have spent a yen on drugs.

Just scored before and the bloke who ive seen must have had his gear plugged at some point, fucking stank of shit. The mrs had to run her first 2 lines off to get rid of the smell, i threw mine on the spoon and only got the smell when the lighter was under it. Goes without saying ive threw my ring up and am sat here shaking like fuck now. Gonna have to have some meth to feel a bit better.

The Gardai as clueless as ever, I see. It wasn't so long ago they were trying to convince an aquaintence of mine that the gram he was in possession of was worth 600euros.

That's hilarious! They really no idea whatsoever about drugs. Either that or they like to exaggerate the prices to make themselves look better. Although I have little respect for th gardai I do feel sorry for those based in the city centre dealing with drug dealers, they're really fighting a losing battle!
