To all fellow heads, just wondering what are your views on scoring in taxis? Do you do it? Do you make the taxi wait while you nip in the guys house or wait for a car to pull up? Does the driver know what your up to?
I ask this cos today I had to use one, for the first time in my life for scoring. I made the driver wait and went into see the bloke I score off and then drove home. When I got near home I told him to pull over, paid him £8 and let him keep the £2 as a tip. Does everyone feel obliged to give a tip after using his car for something he probably doesn't like. I really hope it was the first and last time I score in a taxi cos I was paranoid thinking the driver knew the score, he was ok with me going but when I came out with my gear in my grid looking like gerbil cheeks.
Has any of us been pulled over in a taxi? What did the driver say?

i once got a cab and the driver asked if we could take a short detour as he had to do something - i was in no hurry and we headed off to kings cross he got out came back aq couple of minutes later and said you can get out now no charge or stay i had an inkling what he was up to and sure enough he brought out a crack pipe and shared a 40 stone with me fuckinh mental.
Ive used cabs to score loads of times most of the time - in london anyway the drivers barely speak english let alone what u r up to. I remember being teally sick and got a cab to a flat scored got in and taken home and had no cash said i would give him a cheque but i think he cud see how fucked up i looked and just wanted shot of me
things a bit dire now had good food for 3 days got a call earlier from someone who says he has good - he normally tels teh truthh so will try tomorrow but got a strip of oxy;s so im not too bothered as its bound to be back in the next day or so from my normal fella if this other guy dont have the honey.

At the time of quitting my best mate had between 9-10 years under his belt so he certainly was no newcomer to the game. He had been through all the usual crap the game brings and just woke up one day knowing that - that was it, he had finally had enough and grown tired of all the bullshit.
I've used taxis to score before but very rarely would I make one wait outside for me while I go inside to score.
I would normally pay that taxi when he drops me off, after scoring I call a different taxi company to come and pick me up.
The police here do talk to the taxi companies and ask them to report suspicious behaviour just like they do with pub landlords.
I guess its down to the individual taxi driver and what type of bloke he is if he would report this sort of thing or not.

same here I gave up for 3 months with no meth or subby's etc just smoked weed & sniffed MXE but I got drawn back into it yet again. Though I don't have a habit again atm I still have a toot or a rare crank a few times a week.
I really believe once you had a serious habit your never the same again, you may quit using for several years but will ALLWAYS go back at some point. After reading William S Burroughs Junkie I agree with what he says about it changing your body in some way & you are never the same again no matter if you been off gear 15 years.
But that's my view, I don't expect anyone else to agree with me

I have used taxis several times & had dealers drop my gear off in taxis several times, imo they dont give a flying fuck they want their money & dont seem to care what the hell your doing in my experience.
I had taxi drivers try to sell me white & b before too & round by me the high up gear dealers are all asian, they dont care around by me. I should also add I know a person that smoked whites in the back of a taxi & the driver did fuck all about it (I hope the guilty party reads this post & backs my case)

Isn't that how a few celebs have been caught out that way? Craig Charles defo did, a unscrupulous driver filmed him blasting a few pipes.
As for lads grafting out of the back of taxis that's asking for trouble, I'm surprised the driver let them,
Around St Helens there are no Asian drivers and only 1 asian dealer who I can think of. There are only shop keepers, and they are only lock ups. The Asians tend to live nearer the city centres ( Manchester or Liverpool ). I wish there was more of them selling the gear, from what I've read on here they tend to be where the nice gear is.
Anyway scored today and the gears changed again, get a nice gouch of it and can feel it straight away but no rush unless you've got about £30 in a hit.
I dont know whats happened in London it use to be a very simple system the turks brought it in the yardies sold it not much in the way of bashing .....eveyone happy. Now it seems the only people with decent food are the asians, its all gone tits up

lol @ Craig Charles smoking white & looking at porn, I remember that in the news paper & on the TV years ago.
Around by me the Asians run everything, they really dont care what goes on as long as they get their cash. I remember a few years ago when there was that national dry spell after the DEA sprayed the crop with some virus & effected the whole supply system, their was only 1 guy with gear around me & he has family links to Pakistan/Afghanistan & it was some of the best gear I have ever had.
My 1st ever crank was of that gear & was a few washes which nearly killed me which shows how strong it was & anyone that can recall back to that dry spell the gear going around was so poor, I saw stuff turn to a solid sand like substance in the needle or on foil tasted of strong TCP.
When you look at the heroin trade 90% of what we get comes from Pakistan / Afghan border area so it's logical the asians get the best gear.

based on your responses, opinions and stories, i've realised i've got two options:
1. keep doing brown, but less days a week (i'm not quite back to everyday yet), only smoke it and definately stop injecting anything. when i don't have h i really like to iv other stuff, which can be anything. street "coke" that has pretty much no coke; street "speed", which has pretty much no amphetamine (both unwashed); ethylphenidate (nasty on the veins!); ketamine; methoxetamine; tried using whiskey once to get some etiz to dissolve so that i could shoot them (it doesn't work, i just got a bump under my skin); mephedrone; mdma (which is pointless as i'm on ssri's so it doesn't really do anything). some veins have started to collapse, but most return within a couple days, my arms are loaded with bruises, cuts, random lumps and bumps. only been shooting since march so still only doing arms, but groin/legs/hands/whereever is the inevitable result if i keep on like this.
what i feel guilty about is fixing up a needle virgin so that i could get some brown. they have already been using for 4 years, and they introduced me to heroin, but i still hate myself for it. luckily they can't do it themselves yet. when you do heroin, anything and anyone becomes fair game. ok, i'll sniff h but never iv. ok, i'll iv but i'll always use sterile works. ok, i'll reuse my own needles but never wash old cottons. ok, i'll iv but never shoot someone else, ad nauseum.
as i've said elsewhere, i'm sorry if i sound kinda pathetic. i know some of you have it way harder than i do, and i know that this is old news to most of you. from my perspective, it's just happened so quick. before around march last year the only drug i'd tried was some thai weed, due to living in a tiny village when i was growing up. i was curious about drugs, but they weren't really around.
but with this plan, ultimately i'm still doing brown. burning cash on it and inevitably making my physical addiction worse. i think this would be a useful intermediate step, but that's probably just an excuse to continue use.
i've recently been triaged at my local needle exchange (i wanted the hep b vaccine which you can't get unless you're registered, turns out you can get it from sexual health clinics without having to expose all your nefarious habits or being pushed into quitting), but overall they seem ok there. they push you towards quitting (i.e. suboxone/methadone) a lot more than my last needle exchange (which was on the south coast where steroids are a lot more common than heroin). i want to check out the recovery groups they do called SMART recovery, not NA. i have a friend who was an addict 30 years ago who still sometimes goes to NA meetings and has invited me along to one, but i'm not into that spiritual, you cannot do this on your own - you need a higher power nonsense (sorry to those who find NA useful, no offense intended), i don't want to go to meetings for the rest of my life. i know that if i want to, actually want to, then i can stop using. this sounds so trivial when weighed up against the cost, health risk etc. but the biggest factor against use right now is that i can't ever fucking cum. i can still get hard (most of the time) so there i am, fucking this beautiful girl for hours and hours but never cumming. to end the frustration she may have to go before mrs B. does.
2. go cold turkey (probably best to not have any drug for a few months, when i recently stopped opiates for a month i started smoking weed all day every day..maybe even try to quit nicotine and caffeine and go full health-wise-wanker)
this is obviously the most sensible and rational choice, but if i made sensible and rational choices i wouldn't be in this position eh. maybe combine them into a two step method and see how it goes.
sorry to write such a long, boring and stereotypical post but i've just had a quick blast around on the bike, got home, had a shot of meph, a beer and a cig.
to make this post relevant to this thread, that rash on my back was related to h/injecting indirectly. it turns out it was impetigo, a bacterial skin infection, an outbreak of which i had in the corner of my mouth at the time, so i must've touched my mouth, then had a nice ol' opiate scratch for 5 min and transferred the infection. it's clearing up now with some penicillin and fusidic acid. oh, and i registered with my local GP and i have to give a urine sample? i've never had this happen before? what are they testing for? i'm assuming i won't get any legal trouble even if they do test for drugs.

I had some gear last night and it was actually decent. £45's worth and it got me wasted. I hear from another user that it's now been stamped on tho (always fucking happens) so I won't be scoring from him again for a bit. I got 2 texts today saying 'fire things, fat bags', or words to that effect but it all just washes right over me now, it's bullshit nearly 100% of the time! The one guy rang me so I said 'last time you told me that it turned out to be crap' and he replied 'oh, nah, this one's really good this time,I wouldn't make it up'! So I asked him why he said it was good before when it wasn't and he mumbled summat about a bad batch....hmm, BOLLOCKS MORE LIKE. I only believe the word of other users now and even then it's often wildly exaggerated.
@i & I the docs piss test is for blood sugar levels, liver enzymes, and others stuff not a drug test -but you can never tell.
Was off my tits on oxy's yesterday, wentt to hackney where the gear is always really shit and it was actually ok 4/5blondins x2 bags for 15.
Then got two calls saying the good stufff is back so at lunchtime i will be getting a little parcel

I Against I - you'll never get in trouble for anything found in your urine, not as long as you're not on a court order anyway. And sorry to say this but i think you've got quite a long road ahead of you in terms of using. Just try and keep as safe as you can while you're walking it mate.

Why people buy into this idea there is some great gear about is mad. Think about it the shipment etc must come in by the ton or maybe more. If there is bad gear around in an area it will be there for months.
Why people buy into this idea of having a shit bag at 10am then by 7pm the gear is great is beyond me
