Regional Heroin Discussion v. Sweet Sixteen (v16)

brimz - i had a dark glass bottle with a viscous liquid in it that had liquid diazepam on the label - out of a pharmacist. thats all i know. memory is crap but i believe it was a hand written label and why it was not in dd box i do not know. just saying what i saw, as a well known gameshow host once implored us to do
 
^This is a very good point.

If you can't get heroin anywhere else, you're not really going to complain about a small drop in purity. I mean, people are still doing cocaine...
 
Not feeling very mentally lucid today but I'll give this a go anyway as I need to keep busy. May aswell be honest and confess to my little 'relapse' I had last night. I do hate using that word; makes it seem like I'm back to full blown smoking all day everyday but I'm not at all. I bought two bags with the intention of smoking the bare minimum as needed to stave away the withdrawals until I can get 50mls of Methadone on Monday from a usually very reliable connection; fuck cold turkey. So far I've been staying true to my intention. I smoked 4 lines when I woke up this morning and I feel fine.

The product, however - is inordinately filthy. The foil appears as though someone has taken a black marker to it after a line has been burned, but I'm not too pushed on that aspect really - its doing its job. I'm really looking forward to all the money I'll be saving from all this abstinance.

I've already applied for a job, and on monday I'll be applying for three more. Methadone and valium have always done it for me in the past (got me off gear, that is) but I've never done them together. Usually it would be just very high doses of Valium, at least 80mgs a day for a week. Thats exactly how I got off it the last time - no methadone, no codeine, no loperamide - just 8 D10's a day.

The last stint I went without anything apart from nicotine, caffine and sugar in my system was in 2008 when I came off anti-depressants cold turkey (thick, I know), stopped trying to enjoy hash and and just began smoking and drinking coffee as much as possible. I also went through about 2litres of water a day too - but let me tell you...I felt that good (I'm not sure how long it took but it was under 4 months; rather 2.5 - 3 months I'd like to say) after it all that I didnt want any drugs in my system. At any given moment I felt like I had just done a couple of lines of coke but there was never any comedown. I went to sleep at 11pm every night and woke up at 7am and this was like clockwork - it was as though my system ha just clicked itself back in to balance.

This is the experiment I'm trying now. Nothing but coffee, nicotine and sugar so as soon as my taper ends in a few days it'll begin then. I'll let you know how it goes. I want to give myself a good 3-4 months at this and see how I do. I expect slip ups of course, but as long as I dont have a system thats dependent on heroin I beat myself up about it.

is there no recourse to scripted methadone where youre at? shouldnt have to buy it. or does the constant hoop-jumping do your head in like mine

i googled it and what do you know they found all these cutting agents cunts as if there not making enough money whit out cutting it
and as for the stuff in cork i would say it's because of high purity i'd say it's the same low purity whit a little addative in the fucking thing that will fuck you up

I think Griffin is right.
I've been reading about the whole poppy blight in 2010 & because of the blight the price paid for raw opium to the afghan farmers has doubled since then ie. 2011, 2012.
You can read about the whole thing on some of the UN websites & others.

If the opium buyers in Afghanistan are paying double they then have to process it into heroin and if they're paying double I'd say they are doing some more mixing.

But I do think it's getting mixed further down the chain as well.
Then it just depends on what product the gang each of us gets our stuff from cut it with & the amount they cut it with.

That's my theory anyway. That's why good B is costing crazy money.
There's loads of stuff here that's ordinary money but it's shite.

Yeah they are giving warnings all over the news about this strong batch of heroin going around Cork! I heard on the radio that 9 people in Cork overdosed in the last 24 hours, sadly two men died :( and two other men are still in hospital in a critical condition :( It so sad, the poor lads........

This drought has been going on for so long at this stage that everyone expects the gear to be weak when they buy it. We are all sick of listening to dealers say that they have a new really strong batch, at this stage we all roll our eyes & say 'what ever' 8) when we are told that the gear is strong. Because even when there is an improvement in the quality of the heroin it is still a far cry from the quality that we were getting before the drought.

I'd imagine that the men in Cork were told that the gear was strong, but they probably thought that it was just another bull shit story. The weak heroin that is around now 'looks' like really good gear, so its impossible to tell the strength of the heroin just by looking at it.

Before the drought & before the dealers learned how to make the perfect 'looking' bash, you would have been able to tell a lot about the quality of the heroin just by looking at it. Weak gear would run red on the foil, or it wouldn't leave any traces on the foil, there were a few different ways that you could tell that it was weak just by looking at it. But the gear going around for the last year or so runs perfect on the foil, so its so hard to tell. Its only when you actually taste it that you know its weak.

People should smoke a small bit of their gear on foil to test it before they have a turn on, its better to be safe then sorry. Its so sad to think of those people O.Ding :( They had probably been searching for good gear for the last two years, just like the rest of us have. And then when they eventually found proper gear it killed them :( Its truly awful. May they RIP. My thoughts are with their friends and families.

So i wonder if they just got part of a small batch that came into the country? Or did a large amount of this new batch get into the country? This same thing happened about 6 months into the drought, 3 people O.Ded & died in Dublin & Killkenny, at the time we were sure that it signalled the end of the drought, but it didn't. The gear that has been going around Dublin the last week or so is a bit stronger, but there is no way that it is anyway near strong enough to cause someone to O.D. from using it, let alone strong enough to kill a grown man.

Dealers are going to be very weary now, they won't want to sell strong gear that will kill someone......

with heroin ods is it normally the cut that kills people or what ? its getting very cold... no way i'm going out walking to dealers in the freezing weather. b4 that drought i did have "reliable" people who would come to me. to think of it they werent reliable at all. i'd wait over an hour for 10 minutes... no, i have a reliable person now who i have to go to, he's puts in a long shift, and his tings are always tasty. consistent...it's a pain going to him when you don't drive
 
Too much pure heroin will kill you stone dead - look at Shipman - but I'd have thought it difficult to straight od from smoking it?

Oh, the luck of Irish. For two years, they've lamented the absence of good gear. But when it arrives, look what happens.

Do the authorities have samples of the Cork dope to explain the fatalities?

I forgot to say that i got this gear in North Dublin!!! So that was a real turn up for the books! This is the first time that i have got better gear on the North side, through-out the drought the gear has always been better on the South side! So this seems like a REALLY good sign!!! was tat in d7 ructs? - i cant get any thing good in north dublin even though i have lived + scored here all my life - shame bout the 2 blokes in cork - waiting all that time for a decent hit + then tat happens - that is bad - poor blokes

but tell me honestly what was peoples first thought wen they heard about the ods in cork??? - i know im a selfish bastard but my first thought was that hopefully there will be decent b around - b makes your mind work in strange ways - its twisted - its really bad what happened to the two blokes - when you think of it that could have been any one of us - take care people + always do a tester first - you never know when the b will improve -

this exact thing happened in dublin in the 1980s - b wasn't big in dublin at the time - fuck all people used it + it was madly expencive - then one family managed to bring a load of strong b into dublin + they sold it at an affordable price - with in no time half of dublin were strung out - they were one hard arse family - the dad had all his sons + daughter strung out on b + they all worked for him dealing ect - with a dad like that the family didnt have a chance of a decent life - they were a huge family - half the sons + daughter ended up either dead from aids or else locked up - the dad was eventually locked up as well - he got a long stretch - as far as i know he got out only recently - tat one family managed to flood dublin with b in a matter of months - mad times

Hi Giz! :) There is ok stuff around D7, but there seems to be much better stuff way out in North County Dublin, out by the sea-side! :) Its a bit of a long way out though! Its crazy some of the places that i have ended up searching in over the last two years! Before the drought i used to go to a girl locally in D1 & she always had good, but now you never know where your gonna end up? But North Dublin is very hit & miss now, i have no idea why this is? But that is my experience anyway!

Yeah i remember reading about that family in Dublin that you are talking about, the Dad had a really Italian name. He really messed up his children's lives! As far as i know he got out of prison earlier this year, i wonder is he gonna get back in the game? I doubt it though, he'd be fairly old by now i reckon!
 
hi guys , good to see all the old heads still about and keeping well, iv been on a little forced holiday , what seems to have ended well (for me at least)
my fellas gone to shit again ,he wont pay 400 pound extra for the good one, so iv been seeing a shooter still not the best gear in the world but a score bag gets you stoned,and when i buy a few he chucks me a white.
I cant believe 2 years on things are still this fucked up.

RE/ chemist etiquette , iv allways been polite and friendly and in turn been treated the same, iv had my jollop/meds dropped of at my house ,and they let my missus collect for me more than i do.
i fucking hate seeing people in there pissed stoned stumbling about filling there pockets with anything they can swap for a tin of special,cunts dont deserve the privilege .

New batch of Nice Gear down here, can really taste the heroin in it ! It's a lightish powder rather than all this lumpy pressed crap. First bit in a while which has made me keep going back for more , not looking forward to the detox after this ! Did about half a gram the other night and was nodding my head off for hours. This is why I've been spending so much more on gear, because the quality hasn't been there I've kept having to go back for more, whereas now I can get "out of it" on a few 10 bags.

When I first saw this news report I thought that it was more likely that it was the mix in the gear that was killing the poor guys.
But it looks more & more likely that it is just a strong batch.

Just picked up agin - pretty pleased actually as I managed to make an 1/8th last a week - not bad on the self controll front. The gear was pretty good but this new one is like the gear i use to get years ago v light even a slight sought of pink hue to it , hard lump that is probably a good 8 blondins
