Regional Heroin Discussion v. Sweet Sixteen (v16)

It is indeed, Ructs. Is there nothing except street b or clinic methadone linctus on offer in Dublin? I haven't seen Irish posters mention oxys, sevredol, msts, palfium or anything that might give ya a bigger bang for your buck. Are such drugs not around in The Republic any more?

I always thought the same thing about Dutch blackmarket gear, Blondin. But they are streets ahead of us in areas such as diamorphine prescribing and addict welfare. If there are homes for old junkies, where addict pensioners without family are properly looked after, anywhere in the UK, I've yet to hear of them. Indeed, can you imagine what The Mail would say if taxpayer money was used for such a purpose?

Hi Endless! :) Good luck with the taper, i'd say its hard to find methadone for sale now-a-days in Dublin, most people are taking their methadone themselves. If you do the two week taper you should be grand. I did it years ago & it was totally painless. Also with the gear been so weak in Dublin and coz your not using large amounts of gear you should find it handy enough.

You will save so much money! That will be a great thing! The taper will be easy, but as you know it is the staying away from the gear that will be hard. Stick with it!

still on my juice as i have been for going on two decades know .

Oh n regarding purity of Heroin . It was not uncommon for 65% tackle to be on the streets round my way up till 2009 this can be confirmed with newspaper articles of busts and also another well respected poster on here .

+ The finger dip test is the most reliable really, where you dip your index into the solution and provided it hasnt been watered down then it shouldnt drip off your finger.
+ The other is to shake the bottle and upon the fromation of bubbles, you know its definitely been watered down. Some bubbles will form from undiluted methadone, but they'll vanish quite quickly whereas if its been watered down then it'll remain.

Is this the same for the sugar free stuff?
 
The 'bubbles' test is only true of certain brands; with others, the opposite can apply. The only foolproof test I know is to have some direct-from-the-pharmacy linctus from the same manufactuter. Pour a little of the blackmarket stuff into it; if it's watered, grease slicks will appear, the more water, the more apparent the slicks.

@ Brimz 65% was about in the early 2000's late 90's before the taliban drought as well - all thh gear was the same in london greyish and no residue in the spoon and so fucking cheap the price dropped to 30 a g and 1/4 for £175 .6 for a score.......well the yanks had to get the money in before invading so 1000's of tonnes of heroin is a good way of raising funds ...CIA/coke/noriega/olly North. Corruption and rhetoric the food of all governments
 
When you say the Taliban drought do you mean the 2001 drought ?

Yeah the 90s were good times for us U.K addicts. Almost guaranteed good product even off low level guys .

I started using in the early 90s n was hooked by about 95 although i didn't realise until about 97 because i didn't go a day without it for two years .
 
yep them were the days - the taliban drought only lasted a few months and even then i struck lucky and met a turkish fella, there by hangs a tale might put it on war stories....

Found a hook up , n it was crazy .

School friend had just finished a bit n had left something from a while back ;) Needless to say everyone wanted to be friends .

Ay up Brimzy mate, its like u knew I was reading ;) How do? (Meant to wish u happy bday t'other day mate, hope u had a good one). I was about to post something very similar to what you did, re the gear we were scoring that came in at over 60%. It was around for a good while, before the fella in question got busted, and it was mint. And I happen to know for sure it wasnt cut, we were getting the 60% kit. And it STILL wasnt the best Ive had, though obviously pretty damn close. And its how I'm able to say with relative certainty what constitutes good gear and what does not, and I think theres a few people on here who dont necessarily have that benchmark, ie have never had shit-hot gear in their lives. No names :)

Had a fucked up couple weeks but wont go into details. For a week I was on a bit of a binge, back to scoring about 3/4 of a gram of B every day / evening and buying a stone or 2 to go with. Stoopid fool. Broke the chain tho and had the last 3 days off, tho I caved in tonight :\ Good B tho thats why, or at least partly why. Only available in bags, 2 for £15, eyeballed clearly as when Ive weighed them they range from 0.15 to 0.3! Quite lumpy and reasonably hard, mid-tan with little black specs in it, runs dark with dark traces, condenses real nice in the tooter as in theres enough to have a small smoke after a bag, and then a lkine or 2 from the tube you use for that. And it runs to nowt aswell instead of frazzing. Tastes old school. Gets me gouched out, every night, and it takes a decent bit of kit to make I nod, but I have been every night on top of me 70ml meth 'n all. But I really gotta bang it on the head for a bit. Really. TBH wasnt planning to score tonight till I came on here for a peep! oops triggers 'n all that better hold it down for a bit, Ill check in again next time I score, hopefully not for a good few days tho b;)

Thats the product I ended up getting - said it was sugarfree on the label. I wasnt aware of any other method of testing it so I downed 30mls and it held me, so I'm happy to conclude it wasnt watered down.

Thanks ructions, the financial gain will be a constant from here on in. I have one step nailed and thats to get the methadone, second is to successfully taper off, third is a job to get off social welfare and save up enough money (good luck with that that one) for the fourth, which is to get out of here :)

know what you mean. it's simple if there is decent around you smoke it and if there isn't you cant. 2 different sources today...i sniff a droughtish round by me at least...one good one bad... wanted the good one later on . better kiss it good bye!! honest it came as such a shock to me 2 years ago when it just vanished overnight. earlier though i thought to meself what am i scared of? living life without a brown powder that nods me out at night and stops me from running round like a mad thing.8o i thought -well i ve grown up without my mom for the last 30 years so i think a can do without a little brown powder that takes up my time and energy, (but stops my head from racing) enuff!!!! its great really life when you look at it...something new to learn every day %)
 
^You can do it Pinky,not worth wasting cash on crap gear when there are so many more better things to spend your money on and you would actually have something to show for your money.
I last used on August 31st and now I don't even think about scoring at all, it feels nice not spending all my cash on gear.
The main problem i faced was finding other ways to fill my time but you get there in the end.

Daft though it might sound, that's exactly what a methadone script is meant to do for you.

Possibly, more peops would find it so were they given larger doses. Although there'll always be some for whom heroin alone hits the spot. Curious.

Thats a brilliant attitude pink!! :) It is great yeah i'm finding too that when problems arise i've got the resources to deal with it. Life provides love in so many different ways if you wait and trust and when you've overcome challenges,naturally its such a rush isn't it?

Pink ilve found meditation sooo helpful for a noisy head. Have you tried it?

You could sit in your nice tidy kitchen, light a joss stick and om out :D
 
@pp i think theres just a couple shite batches and/or some amateur bash'meisters round our ways atm. a week or so ago the strength really dropped off with no apparent change in appearence both light and darker stuff, like you i feared ye olde drought returning but it seems things are better again now. touch wood etc
 
I always thought it was a cop-out when dealers claimed 'its banging/shooting gear' after I'd call to complain that it ran like sand on the foil, but I was told before hand that the product for my last boot was 'banging gear' and it nearly knocked me sideways.

Took 25mls today, seems to be holding me pretty well. Halloween's going to be awfully tempting...I'll indulge in something, but if it'll be gear or not I dont know. My main focus is shaking this addiction and its going quite well at this stage. After Saturday, it will have been the longest in 18 months I'll have abstained. After tomorrow, the heroin should have left my system and I'll be clean for the first time in a long time.

The next issue is the depression I'm going to face, compared to which opiate withdrawal is a stroll in the park.
