Hey Brimz i just got a P.M. to say that our mate theFool has been on here bitching & trying to stir shit between people! The guy really knows how to makes friends! He pops up every few months & tries to cause arguments between people & then he ends up getting banned again. I was also told in the same P.M. that he was on here claiming that he was just back from New York were he was smoking "the best gear ever dude" even though he had posted 3 days before hand saying he was in Dublin scoring "great gear"??? I thought Concord weren't flying anymore? God bless the Blocking option on Bluelight, now i don't have to read any of his bitchy bitching, Hehehe!!! Thank you to my fellow Bluelight pal for filling me in on his silliness, but please don't fill me in anymore on that moron. Having him blocked is a god send! He can post whatever childish brivle on this thread that he wants coz i will never ever be able to read any of it, i'll be blissfully unaware of his existence & thats the way i like it :D Let him waste his time writing posts that i'll never see, Tee-Hee!!! Thank-you to my pal for filling me in, but from now on lets not even mention him again, if yous had read what he said in a PM he sent me about my 16year old daughter you would know why i blocked him, he is a real sicko!!! Anyway back in the real world, i'm looking forward to seeing how things go with the GP, the clinic have said that if i need to come back to them then i can at anytime, so i'll see how it goes. The GP that the clinic are sending me to has been my GP for years, when my Son was younger i used to bring him there, so its gonna be weird going there to get my methadone! There are two GP's in the surgery, one Doc is really REALLY nice, he is a pure gem, but the other Doc is a narkey auld git! So i'll just make sure to see the nice Doc!

Thanks Brimz for letting me know your experiences with a GP & thanks to everyone else for talking to me about it. Hopefully things will be run much the same over here in Dublin. I will only have to go to the GP once every two weeks, & i'm hoping that if i keep giving in clean urines that i might have to go only once a month, sure i'll see how it goes, it can't hurt to try it out!

It was really emotional leaving the clinic for the last time yesterday, all of the staff came out to say good bye to my Boyfriend & I, we were all giving each other hugs & kisses, i was in tears & so were some of the staff, it was so sad, it was even sad saying good bye to some of the other patients, there were hugs coming from all directions. I hate good byes, i first went to that clinic 6 years ago when i was at the height of my addiction, i was almost on my knees. Its been a long road from there, & i still have a long way to go yet, but i'm getting there (sort of) The staff in my clinic were really lovely, some of them were like friends! I will miss them, i can't believe that i was in tears leaving there!!! So its on-wards & up-wards now.......

I'd bet the lack of competition in Ireland because it hasn't got quite the same variety of gang culture as Britain is allowing people to take the piss. Just a theory, but it's in line with what Ructions and others have been saying.

Which pisses me off no end, mostly for the people with habits though. For me it's an occasional treat, but to know that people's greed is affecting the lives of others who need it really fucks me off if I may be allowed to use such language in what is usually a polite thread.

Thanx for that Sam i got a fair few of those sick PM's from theFool a few months back, what sort of a sicko says stuff like that about a 16 year old girl??? He should be locked up! It was that bad that in the end I mentioned it to Whoremoaning & he asked me to send him the PM's so that he could read them for himself, he was totally sickened by what he read & theFool hadn't been heard of since!! He got one hell of a long ban!!! It was Whoremoaning that told me about the blocking option, so now theFool can't send me PM's anymore & i haven't been able to read a single one of his post since then, YAY!!! One of the lads that used to post on here from Dublin knew theFOOL. He said that theFool is a fairly young kid, he said that he is not really old enough to know anything about drugs or anything else for that matter. When i heard that it made total sense, although i know plenty of other 15 year olds who are very mature & would never go on like that, but you'll always get the odd weirdo! Anyway thats it, i'm not gonna mention him again, i can't see any of his posts anymore & he is blocked from sending me PM's, so for me he no longer exists! I think that theFool might have a bit of a thing for me! He always seems to comment on my posts! If he disliked me then surly he would block me the way i've blocked him & then he wouldn't be able to see or comment on any of my posts! Anyway moving swiftly on ~ Yeah i hear that things are really improving in Manchester & in many other parts of the UK, maybe the drought is finally gonna come to an end!!! Its about bloody time!!!! I haven't scored at all in about two weeks so i don't know myself how things are over here, I have a few days off work next week so i'm really tempted to score, but from talking to a few of my friends over here who's opinion i totally trust they say that its just the same old crap thats available

What you say about the lack of competition in Ireland is 10000000% true, now thats a big percentage!!! & i have only really realized that since chatting to people from the UK on Bluelight that we don't have any proper competition over here. Its all just other Irish users that are selling over here, i have heard it said that in the UK you should buy gear from the Asians & coke from the blacks, but we don't have that option at all over here. You will find the odd black selling coke alright, but i have never come across any Asians selling heroin. Its all just Dublin people selling to other Dublin people. In all the years that i have been using i ended up cutting it down to only 3 people that i would score from, i stuck with them & them only coz they always had proper good gear. They wouldn't ever sell small deals, but that kind'a suited us coz there was the two of us using, we would buy enough for the week in one transaction. Oh those were the days!!! Out of those 3 people none of them would sell through out the drought coz they wouldn't sell the shit that was going around & i respected them for that, but two of them gave in about 4 months ago & started selling the weak stuff thats over here, but one of them has Still not sold a thing since the start of the drought, so i know that if i ever hear from her that it will be Game On! Since the start of this drought i have scored in North Dublin, South Dublin, West Dublin, Co. Dublin & i even went as far as Co. Meath & Co. Kildare to score, & it was the very same weak gear everywhere that i went.

There has been the odd improvement here & there but it has never got back to the way it was & it never lasts for long, in fact the gear over here has been going down hill for the last 3 years, thats why i stuck to scoring from the same 3 people coz they always had good, while else were went down hill. But the last 10 months have been a joke! I really wish that we had Asians selling gear over here!! This country can be a backwards kip at times! I shouldn't really score, but i might test out the waters over the week-end!!! I'm not getting my hopes up though after what i've been hearing!

There has been a lot of good news in the UK this week, so hopefully things will get back to normal here soon as well!!! Nitey~nite! Catch you later gator!!!

It seems as if things return to as normal as can be across the UK. As someone says, dealers only continue to sell bash because the mark up is bigger. Hi 2tincarmun Its great news that Luton is back up & running! I went out & scored to-night, even though a few people told me not to bother, but i have a few days off work so you know how it is....

I tried yet another source, i went to South Dublin, a part that always had a good reputation for good gear. But the gear i got was the same as ever, Dublin is totally flooded with this stuff!! Its only about half the strength of what it should be, luckily there is actually heroin in it, but not nearly enough! But the stupid thing is that i knew this before i bought it, but ypu know how it is - i just had to score! There were 2 lads using the same gear in the house were i got it, they were sitting there saying that it was 'great stuff' If i didn't know how stupid & gullible these 2 lads were i would have thought the dealer had planted them there to tell punters that the gear was good, but alas these 2 lads are know as real bash lovers! But then again there was me scoring gear that i had already been told wasn't all that great! 8( AH~AAAaaaa....!

But things seem to really be picking up in the UK, so it stands to reason that things will have to get better here at some stage! Keep us posted in how things are doing over your way!

From what i hear the harvest was good in Afghanistan this year, some one did post an official report (i think it was Kkat?) on here about the harvest in all the regions in Afghanistan, it all seemed pretty good! I wish it would just hurry up & get here! I never thought in a million years that it would last for this long........

There is Heroin in it, but not enough, but what else is in it that has me so wired & wide awake? I haven't taken my methadone to-day & this gear is holding me fine. But the gear didn't give me much of a rush, there is the odd bit of a nod going on & then bling! I'm wide awake!!! I'd love to know what i'm actually smoking, like what is it mixed with? I wish the proper gear would come back coz if i had smoked 3 trays of proper gear then my head would be on my knees & i would be totally switched off, but instead i'm totally wired, feels more like i've been smoking crack?! I've noticed that too with the gear around here. The buzz lasts too long, I sleep badly and I don't start properly nodding till the middle of the next day! Not good when you have a naughty little mid-week toot .....

Going to have to try growing poppies again. Had two batches die on me, stems were too long and spindly and couldn't support their own weight. Think I will forget trying to use natural daylight next time and put straight under sodium on a 12 + 12 cycle.

nah the reports i saw was a statement on some bloke saying he had 12 degrees or qualifacations and been to this course and that course. it did say it was diamorphine postive and fitted into what is normal for street heroin between 10% to 50% thats all it said, it also went on to say he cut open the package and tested a little bit. and went on to say 1/4 is in his pro opion more then for personnel use


anyway got 60 hrs of comm service for it. so good result i guess considering loss of a 1/4 of decent heroin

they did say in court that a 1/4 oif heroin is level 2, which has to be dealt with via form of a community punishment at least, meaning just a fine wouldnt be in the guidelines they have been told to follow. level3 being the highest

police told a pile of lies in there staement but we all know from experence they do thast, but probation were happy i can manage my own habit considering been out of court for 7-8 yrs, and under local drug agency care, so they said probation didnt suit me, nor wud a drr, but also lost a 1/8th and a gram the other day (had it hidden and think council scooped mud away and scooped my stuff up with it)but was sub-standard gear, as seems to be the norm now, but lsince last october lost quite a lot of gear , drugs were ordered to be distroyed obv


prices hihger still then pre-october atcually paying 1/3rd as much as before, for worse gear, but cud get it alot alot cheaper but quality even worse. so pay more for better tackle even though not much better

I am really touched by your response. We are peoples of the same generation and probably have similar stories modified by living in different parts of this globe. Though I am on sub, and not actively using, I will be a heroin addict till the day of my death and those, actively using, on substitution therapy, or in abstinece recovery our my brethern. Its like, whatever the circumtances, whatever our culture, or nationality, as opiate addicts we are like a nation or ethnic group that trancendens race or color. I believe this to be biologically based, and a trait that unites us. We live in the dark ages of drug prohibition. Clearly, if one was to survey this thread alone, we are not bad people. One may consider us sick. In the USA, the persuit of happiness is a sacred right, enumerated in our Decleration of Independence. Thats one reason why we fought a war of independence against George III. If not happiness then peace or contendendence- there is always going to be people that don't feel right, feal depressed, anxious, but their is always gonna be people that are not happy, or have the very least right to a descent quality of life requiring opiates. For many of us heroin, hydromorphone, oxymorphone, and many of the more heavy duty phenathrene opiates are gonna be the simple and cheap cure. We all know that people with this kind of trait function better when treated with this class of drugs. So until big pharma comes along with something better, a beta-endorphine enzyme inhibitor (esterase or whatever) that that inhibits the breakdown of endorphines: SSRIs, NE agonist componuds, mixed SSRI and NE reuptake inhibitor agents, ect, ect, ect...is really not gonna work at improving our quality of life (I think many will agree with me having tried these treatment modalities- though everyone is different). Legal Diamorphine, morphine, hydromorphine, oxy, 0xymorph, ect... Rx, like the Pragmatic Swiss have enjoyed great
results with- our people, our race, if you will suffer unecessarily. You see, its like smoking (ex- smokers in my case)- it gives them this perverse pleasure that they are on the right side of health- that they are somehow strong and above these weak willed smokers. We need a whole paradigm shift. Its just that people are so narrow minded and abstinenece makes them feel so superior morally, whatever the compund, if I can't (or have overcome it, so can you...anything else your a weak willed scum). I got back on sub, though not the ideal, it did have marked antipressant effects, after a dark spell of depression.

The bottom line is governments, broke as they are, shouldn't protect us against ourselves, but against others that would do us harm. If you can adopt this philosophy, then prohibition becomes illuninated for what it is- an oppressive regieme, and the victims of our subjects of CRIMES GAINST HUMAINITY.

Anyway, I was watching while writting this Nat Geo Channel- they went into the whole drug interdiction effort in afghanistan- people trying to smuggle heroin into New York Via Nigerian couriers- all for the Midwest (Chicago, Detroit, ect... market). They also showed afghans waking poppies, and agents in Iran or apghanistan- finding #3 hidden in the thread of the rug- they showed one uptight official- but he admitted that maybe 10-15% @ most is interdicted.

Anyaway, I hope you have good luck and peace. No one should be an arbiter of anyone elses lifestyle if it isn't harming others. This is the conrnerstone of our argument, we are sick and our quality of life would improve if the authorities leave us be. Drug overdoses would decrease, ect...

In Switzerland they legalized heroin Rx, and rather than having their society colapse- they have only 3% unemployement and people thriving on the program- investors are actually buying Swiss Franks alongside gold as a safe haven (might have posted this before)- point is their heroin Rx program is reaping benefits, unless I get info to the contrary- don't know the latest, might resurrect my "needle park Zurich thread" to get more info.

But anyway Runcts, i'll be around...I value the friendship I've made with like minded individuals like you, Charlie, Brimz, Kat, and all the other regulars and irregulars on your side of the pound. We need to keep the lines of communication open, and our movement needs to grow...Globally. As opiate addicts, we are humans, from my perspective with a trait. A trait that allows state sanctioned persecution in most of the world...one that requires global solidarity...this is an issue of fundemantal human rights being violated. So we must keep the dialogue open.

In Aus and NZ, they see heroin addicts as being degenerates as opposed to methamphetamine tweakers that are somehow seen as being chic.8(
I have know ill will against tweakers on similar principles but inspite of their good harm reduction programs in major cities, this view continues on BL- which was shocking to me having experienced both drugs in debth. Anyway, we have to educate them to overcome their silly predjucies.

Anyway, Runctions, I hope you and your boyfriend have good luck- you our one of the best, most gentle souls (and are not afraid to speak out when info is not reliable), on this thread, proof that us dopfiends aren't degenerates- we have jobs, aren't enemy of the people, have empathy- just have an aberation of the brain that needs remedying.

I'll pop by every now and then. Tommyboy stated a sticky for transatlantic communication that I saw as a good thing. Their are wankers my side of the pond but international solidarity is a must. One hundred years latter we are subject to the chains of discrimination. We all share one thing in that, to paraprase MLK we are "exiles in our oun lands." Now is the time to rise from the quicksand of injustice and ignorance to the solid rock of compasion and justice. MLK would say that the luxury of gradualism is a luxuary his people did not have but in our movement gradualism is probaly the best tactic- gradually changing the prevailing attitude internationally.

But we must all perservere in this goal- that the evils of prohibitions, or that seeing addiction as a criminal and moral deficiency be replaced by common sence of ending prohibition and supporting harm reduction.
