Aw Xmitch i'm so sorry to hear that. Bloody filth hiding in bushes, its a joke! I know your head must be wrecked over it. But as you said you haven't been in trouble in 10 years so hopefully things will work out ok.

Did you already make a statement? What did you say? Best to say as little as possible, although i'm sure your already well aware of that. Maybe you could say that you are totally depressed & you can't function without heroin, & that due to months of drought you have been in a very dark place, say that when you heard that someone was selling heroin you bought it in bulk coz your terrified that it will run out again coz the drought is not fully over yet. I'm sure the police are well aware of the drought.

Would that help at all? I'm not sure? The last time i was arrested was over 20 years ago before my Son was born, touch wood i've manged to be extra careful since then. Although it doesn't matter how careful you are sometimes you can always get caught coz when you gotta score you gotta score!

I hope your alright, hopefully they won't go hard on you, & what a shame that you lost your gear. GURrrrr........!!! :X

I've had stupid cops try tellin me not 2 bother with representation b4 , sayin i'd get out quicker , i wasn't havin it at all . Didn't say a word till i had legal advice. Sure u no all this anyway.

I experienced both sides of the court room
The police have 2 different lists of solicitors for you to use
when i was using a recommended solicitor to get an injunction against an ex partner i was advised to use a specific law firm
so when i was busted,i used that same firm,that wasn't,incidentally,on the list of suggested law firms for those in the shit

you are right about getting a good brief
i almost completely lost custody of my kids because of a crappy brief
 
GET A GOOd BRIEF - that sooo importent A long while ago a mate was caught with all sorts of goodies 1000 e's, 2 nine bars, few other bits n peices. He got legal aid but kept refusing the person assigned to him until he ended up with a £200 p/h top geezer...result fine, sus sentance.
 
@XxMitch -- Sorry to hear about that :( Not what you need, at all. Waiting in bushes to bust someone with a few grams is below the belt. Bet they feel all big and brave and strong.

Maybe we should have a sticky thread for posting the numbers of good law firms?
 
Well met my man from last November & guess what ? He was telling the truth as far as i can tell & remember.
The stuff he's holding is no doubt quality kit, dark beige in colour , with the appearance of shards of glass.
The price was fantastic compared to what others are charging, £30 less on the Henry, one thing it has reassured me of is this.

The gear going about B'HAM now is definately as good as anything i've had in the last 2-3 yrs ( apart from the odd batch of CRUNCH, or a bit that came supposedley direct from Pakistan , but looked like drinking chocolate )

All in all v. good news, all the best Louiexv1 .

2 nine bars of what? Not saying your lying, but jesus thats alot of stuff not to go jail for. Although I've known of a kg of weed being found and the person getting off with intent to supply, but their story was they owed a dealer money and were keeping it there for the dealer to pay off the debt. At the same time i've heard of a lad going to jail for 3 e's!!

im hoping so, its was done up as up in one. not in bags. only previous for herion was a tude thry found on a bust in 2009 which i was cauntion for,

they sent a sniffer dog to my home at 1-2 am, which they did on a section 18 search, with wrong house number on, and prompty woke my old neighbour up and told them I had given them the wrong house number. which is total crap, they know my addresss very well. and didnt mention they were even doing the raid.

there reason for the search was inntellenge on i was selling herion, which in last 3 yrs has been reason for many search'es.

but when they did my house they took my scales,

nohing else to suggest dealing was found. they didnt really ask much as will want test the powder they found etc. as bailed to 30th aug

i told them and can prove the amount caught with i can affford and buy in bulk to save 100's of pounds, but that good gear lasted a few days tops on streets and all long gone,

shouldnt get prisioned off, but u never know, u hear some weird storys, i'll know more when go back to answer bail, they did keep me 19 hours though .

but there attitudes stunk, and thats not me being bitter all seemed a little over top from the very miniute i was jumped on , to them lying to my neighbour and not even telling me they span my house and woke wife and kid in the early morning. inc waking wrong people first, to them allowing my first phone call after 18 hours. anyways glad things looking better for the uk and BL users

@ryan egg - 9 bars of some of the nicest hash I ve come across - when you get a good brief its often not the guilt or otherwise its the technicalities that they get you off on, correct procedures, paperwork etc etc and of course never admitting that any of it was mine (shared house)
 
in a shared house,if everyone denies it is theirs then the owner will get done for 'allowing use of their property' and may lose their house
but as for possession and intent-they can't really pin it on anyone unless they have 'planted' a buyer
shit that there are no entrapment laws in this country
 
Blondin is 100 % right, a good brief will find somthing in your charge sheet , that your normal doughnut duty solicitor , wouldn't find if there life depended on it.

talking of entrapment i read a story "granted it was the sun" that on a day a geezer was released from jail they the old bill left a bike unlocked very nr by, sat and waited in hope he took it . he did i'll goggle it and see if can find the story

(ha ha the sun as usual mis-reported the story, they said it was left outside prision) but surley police have more things to do then nick someone who takes a bike, still a crime yes, but how many hours wasted, and not like they got a bike theft ring, just some shop-lifter prob wud have dumped it after gettting ride home, but shows police wasting time with small time crime, wonder how many muggings knifing burgurarys noncing victims, or women beating in that wasted time cud have been arrested,

but as stated jail for me is doutful but not impossible. but either way what will be will be

and yeah wasnt pleasent losing the best bit of tackle had in months and months, and the 400 cost, but 17yrs of addiction u got to expect to be caught at sometime
 
I remember seeing that on one of those 'community cops' shows on BBC
they put an unlocked bike in place and then watched to see who would steal it
they followed it to this house where the woman said she had taken it to take to the police station later
they actually believed her too!
so they took it back so someone else would take it!
talk about waste of resources
 
The Met did that shit years ago. Left a lorry full of portable consumer goods on Christmas Eve apparently untended with the back down and arrested anyone who helped themselves. I think out of 16 suckers nabbed, 14 had no previous convictions. After a minor outcry about entrapment and wasting resources, the practice was shelved. Now it looks like the ways of the bad old Met enjoy a rennaissance in all areas. The force is in urgent need of a new Sir Robert Mark and it surely isn't Yates. Maybe if Akers of the Yard continues to shine in front of MPs she'll be in line for the biggest cleaning job in town.
 
sorry for the change of tack,but i was watching something on tv and i wanted to ask a general question....

I remember my first rattle vividly.I wish now that i had sat thru it cos it woulda been pretty easy.If I had done,maybe I wouldn't be where I am now.

this guy on the TV said that he had used for a week and then he woke up feeling sick and aching but didn't know what it was.He asked a friend that was part of the 'wrong crowd' that he had been hanging around with,who told him it was withdrawal.He didn't believe it as he had only been using for a week,so the friend told him to try using some gear and then he knew he was an addict.

The question is,do you guys recall your first rattle?and what do you think about it now?

my first rattle took about 3 to 4 yrs after first started using most days, i used to wonder if it was a mental thing only !

i kept working through the first 4yrs,and only used gear after work but nearly everynight, meth wasnt around like it is now (going bk 17yrs) was around but scripts were few and far between and 6month wait, but once i got layed off work, things started to go wrong, and first cluck i thought i had flu at first, but with the wave after wave of desperation for gear i sort of got what people had been talking about (also point out though i still used to cluck rather then use the pin, as for weeks only thing u cud buy in my town was diamorphine, and i only smoke herion and refused to inject. still to this day wished i had expreenced diamorphine


*also just wondered if anyone else had heard that in early 90's herion was doubled in strengh, basicly to target new users like ravers who used downers after to come down but herion was to weak, and many people didnt want to inject. so herion was sent here alot stronger to encougare use. and thats why herion made such a huge come back in early to mid 90's? after zammo and grange hill crew stamped alot of it out in 80's lol
