@ Ructions: Heya miss ;) I'm ok thank you darling, or at least ok once I get a bit of brown into me. Dying to know what your product was like miss, hopefully your blissfully goofed right about now ;) I scored another bag myself today and qualities still beautiful thank jaysis. Its strange posting on Bluelight and goofing in-between sentences; I never thought it would be possible again after that god awful drought.

I'll check back in a bit anyway, interested to know how you got on with your smoke. Take care and I'll talk to you soon dear.

I used on top of my sub script once or twice and I def wouldn't recommend it
 
ructions i hope your gear was half has good has mine and you would still be fuced out your tree. Not to dick size but ive come home from work just now had 6 runs and nodding out consitently shit hot tis stuff but this new batch is like gear from 5-6 years ago MAD but im loving it.
ONLY problem is my lighter has run out of gas but you know that offer i made you but i hope things are getting better for the pads
 
Cheers brother - it is for some of us, the drought ended for me and just about everyone I know back at the end of February but alas for others it'd still very much a reality.

My fucking lighter just ran out too and I've zero cash to get another. I'll have to search the house in few...I'll start with the sofa.

I'll be getting another 25 tomorrow so I'll be able to score over the weekend thank jesus, and much like you the product I'm scoring is beautiful too. I only began smoking about two years though so I'd have no idea what the product was like as far back as 5/6 years ago but I know what I like and thankfully what I'm getting now meets my standards.

I cant say its baffling that folk on here from Dublin cant score proper, but I really dont have that many connections...I suppose I'm just lucky. Very lucky. Those seven months were downright awful. I've never been as fucking depressed in all my life during that time, my Christmas and all was fucking miserable. I damn well hope this continues, however upon the first word of an upcoming shortage I'll be stocking the fuck up without a doubt.

This time around I've been managing to abide by my 3 or 4 bags max a week so my tolerance is satisfactorily low and I've still no actual 'habit' as of yet, ie no withdrawals when I don't have enough to score (which is quite often, actually).

Hi Endless... As i said i'm really glad to hear that your getting gear that your happy with, once your happy that is all that matters! :)

But as for people not being able to score good gear, well its more a case of different people looking for different gear, what would make one person happy would make another person unhappy.

The best example of that was when you & i scored off the same person on the same day, we both had the very same gear, & you were delighted with it! You thought the gear was pre drought, you even graded it at 9/10 fire. But I wasn't at all happy with it, :( i graded it at barely 2/10 & i never went back for more coz i thought that the gear was useless. So as i said to you before it all depends on what people were used to before the drought, coz what i was getting before the drought was a totally different drug to what everyone in Dublin are using lately.

But at the end of the day once your happy with what your getting that is all that matters. I have plenty of mates happily scoring the Dublin gear at the moment, & once their happy that is all that matters! The only thing that i worry about is that now that a lot of people in Dublin seem so happy with the gear thats around then things will never get back to the way they were, well not to the way that i remember them anyway.

I spent the day smoking the gear that i got yesterday, (i can't believe that i managed to hold out till to-day!) it was exactly as my mate described it. Brimz Been a long time I've been on this forum because my computer got infected. How was valencia, You mentioned the dope was goos. Was it brown #4. How did you score? It was 30 C. Whats that, about 90-100 degrees F. Here in San Diego we got June gloom- Don't know if you remember that from your trip here years ago. Its over cast and in the low 70s to high 60s F. Wah- poor me- actual like it being cool. July- Jan we should get plenty of sun. But we never really had a summer last year- weather has been weird- unusually hot in the East and cooler in the west.

But is there a big outdoor scene our do you need to know a dope fiend?

Back on suboxone- injured my back but I'm gonna try to stay away from it being an everyday thing. Had to pay 150.00 with a $45 cupon- but my mood improved drsmsticslly when I took it- got all this energy and a lovely nod- just you build a tolerance- hence not keeping it a daily thing.

Anyway welcome back my friend. I saw something about LAAM- it was phased out- had a long half life but was contraindicated with certain heart conditions.

By the way- the dope seems to be improving- atleat in England and other parts of Europe- maybe not so much in Ireland. But my point- NATO is pulling out of Afghanistan- gonna be a boom for the opium growers on up. That is if the Taliban hardliners don't take over. Next year might see quality and prices go back to normal.

Whats the grey dope- is it still #3 Afghani/ Paki. Its smokeable i assume. But was brown dope the norm before the drought?

By the way, endless- you seem to be well connected- my impression is that most people are still seeing high prices/ poor quality atleast in the Dublin and Limerick markets? Welcome back to this thread.

ruction. i am with you there mate. diffrent people have diffrent ideas of whats good + whats not. your taste must be like mine because i think the brown around dublin is all shite. when i saw your man saying that 90 % of D7 has good brown i nearly fell off my chair. i live in a large block of flats in D1. if you no north dublin inner city well then you will no were im from. i have been scoring around D1 + D7 since the early 90's. as you no its not really a big area, so i no people around here who have been selling brown for years + i no most of the new dearers as well. it stands to reason that i dont know every dealer in this area but if i add up all the dealers i no + then if i add up all of the dealers that my mates no it would prob add up to at least 30 diffrent dealers, + all of them are selling the very same shite. just like you said they have no shortage of customers, that is why things are not getting better in dublin. my methadone clinic is in D1 its the biggest meth clinic in dublin, i have asked everyone in there if they can score anything good, i am always on the look out, but all of them can only get the same weak shite. my doctor says that everyones piss is still coming back clean for brown + dirty for benzos, + everyone is going mad because they dont use benzos but they have been using brown, but there tests says otherwise. have you read this months heroin fanzine yet? there are interviews from users all over dublin + some from cork + galway + they all tell the same story, that the gear is not worth a wank. im readdy now to turn my back on it all + walk away, so maybe that is something good that has happened. i probably wont last past the weekend!!! (how do i make my post in to paragraphs please?)

Puts me in my place? How so? Theres no hostility between me and ructions. I know ructions outside of the forums and we have several mutual friends - nobodies putting anyone in their place man.

Back on topic, I'm going to try score again today though its going to require cashing in all my 5c coins (of which I have 29euros worth) into the bank for notes. Oh joy.

Ah, I don't think Charlie's saying there's any hostility as such. All he's saying is that Ructions' post kind of lets you know her individual stance on the validity and reliability of your reports of 'good' product.

Let's be honest, you have proclaimed the drought to be over several times and you've used the word 'fire' liberally. Don't think it's anything personal beyond that of course, and certainly not intended as a barb.* :)

* Not an abbreviation of barbiturate. All of them are in the 'gear' these days. **

@jspun the 'brown' we get here can vary from almost white/grey to dark brown like chocolate and every tint in between - though the best dope i remember having was back in the late 90's and in to 2000's which was almost white and came in rock hard slabs - this was about for years.

EDIT: I should have added that the best dope I ever got was in 82-83 when it came over with the Iranians that was darker brown and so strong you have to have a pull on a ciggy or you would gag.

It took a while for me to forgive myself for using the term 'proper pre-drough fire' acturally; in fact I genuinely cringe when I see or hear that being mentioned. I wont be dong it again, its annoying as hell - even more so than being told what I'm smoking is '<10% bash', although the thoughts of it dud usher in a chuckle this afternoon on my way back from scoring. Anyway, no worries gentlemen :] Apologies if I came off as a prick, that often happens with me on forums for some reason.

Admittedly, the product I scored that ructions refers to was utter rubbish (as I realist now) but I had been scoring proper from this guy before that batch and scored more afterwards as it improved again. He's not in the game anymore though, and even if he was his quality is very variable and as he has admitted himself, he'll settle with any old rubbish and sell it off because people are willing to buy it. Personally I cant afford to be taking risks like that, and its not as if other users word is anything to trust as it had been so long since they'd had proper product that I'm not even sure they realised themselves. Also, most of them that are buying off my two regulars appear to have developed pretty heavy habits again. I guess some people are just destined for addiction. Its quite sad really.

Anywhodle, I cashed in my coins and the total came to a nice 29euros :D I was able to buy myself a unquestionably glorious 25 bag and threw my little bro the left over 4euro to get something to eat for himself. I still have a rather large stash of 2c coins left which by the looks of them I estimate I should have about 15euros. I do of course have another jar of 5, 2 and 1cent coins in my room too but I dont think the banks open tomorrow so I'll count them over the weekend and cash them Monday. Thank fuck too, as my pay is gong to be delayed until next Wednesday as opposed to Monday so this is very much needed.

But again as usual I digress, despite having edited out two paragraphs and a few lines here and there. The bag I scored was satisfactorily large, tightly packed and the quality is still stable. I'm even getting a nice goof here and I feel great :)

Well, I still can't get. : (

That's not exactly true, I can, but it is still WAY expensive or just very, very average - with that funny taste & colour (altho not as noticeable as a couple months ago)

I'm in North London & I always used to have 3 to 4 dealers based mainly around Stamford Hill & into Clapton & Hackney. Even in previous droughts, when everyone else I knew struggled, I could always get.

Now tho, the tables really have turned. 2 of the best guys I used to know have just switched their main phones completely off & they haven't been on all 2011. I have spoken to 1 of their contacts recently, but he just confirmed that, altho they've looked at stuff, it hasn't been good enough to buy.

The other 2 left that I know have wildly different stuff. 1 has proper mint gear, but his prices are literally so ridiculous it is not worth it. The other has (still expensive) but much more usual street prices but his gear is barely 5/10, I'd probably give it a 4.5 if I'm being picky.

How is it I'm in London and everyone I know is still faffin' around with this reddish/yellow, funny tastin' crap?
