Basketcase What up basket. Great to here from you! I drop by this thread occasionally- doing well- staying away from subs (mostly) but tapering benzos.

You missed it a few weeks ago, we had a recreation of the war of 1812 on this thread only the yanks were the ones invading. Was ashamed at some of my countrymen's talking shit on this side of BL's pond (but Charlie, Brimz, Pink and a few others counterattacked on the analogous NADD thread. Set Anglo-American relations back atleast 200 years (and we managed to alienate the Irish too.)

Anyway, like Kat said, some of us need gear or a suitable substitute because conventional treatments for mood disorders don't work for us. I'm in that category. If I even take subs, if I take it sporadicaly my mood goes from the gloomy doldromes of unoccupied opiate receptors to an instant elevation in my mood. My most prolific posts were when I was taking a good dose of sub back in January. I slip every now and then and post everyones ears off.

That sucks that you have chronic pain- can you see a pain specialist or is your goal to taper opiates? Given the two with chronic pain I would work on tapering the benzos first, but do what you can- don't over do it. Undertreated pain is a major source of depression and frustration. Anyway, I hope things look up for you.

Runcts Sorry to hear you keep getting skunked. Your disappointement and frustration are palpable. Hope things improve for you.

When I smoked gear- the best dope I'd get would leave a grey or light black trail. The best dope had a low melting point. The worst usually tasted a nauseus sickly sweet and leave a crunchy trail, the beetle would sometimes fly off the foil. One time we got gear- we were dope sick (mexican spanish- malies), my girl started smoking and the piece flew off the foil and we couldn't find it. 30 minutes later our cat came crawling up to get and my wife while petting and scratching the cat found the piece stuck to her leg adlacent to her paw. Luckily she didn't lick it off. We relished that piece despite the taste of cat hair.

Anyway, when we would complain about the sickly sweet crap, the connects we come up with better dope next time usually- they just wanted to see how far they could get- who knows how much carcinogenic garbage our connects would cut the dope with. Then the next day it would have the vinegar taste of better tar. The lovely bitter tar with that lovely dope taste hard to describe like bitter flowers- now that was the fire- stated getting ahold of that latter as the mexicans had to compete with oxy. One of the obstacles that used to piss me off were connections that whose comprehesion of the English language varried as it suited them. But I knew alittle Spanish- credito and manana being 2 words I used most.

i had a peeek back few pages at the anglo-american doodah, which ws quite funny reading actually. i can understand the yanks saying they can't believe such a drought happening, cos if you'd have sent back the UK users back to lets say, last August/September and told them the whole of UK and Ireland would be flooded with not just low quality, but 0% heroin,b fulle of bash, crappiest cuts you could think of we would have pissed our pants! (through laughing of course, not throo fear lol) it was difficult for us to get our heads around too.

i was doing quite well before, down to 25ml to 30ml/day, but because things haven't gone to plan, meths gone up to 55. could do with more actually! if i can manage this pain, i can cope. it says a lot about the gear round here when methadone takes the pain away more than gear itself. (think it's actually scribed as a pain killer in the US)

It is Rxed as a pain killer my friend. However, its not just a matter of dose but it is usually Rxed tid or qid (every 6-8 hrs, 1 dose/ day doesn't provide for adequate pain relief.) Its been my experience that doses above 60 mg begin reducing craving and are more realistic for pain management. 20 mg 4 times/ day. It binds to the mu opioid receptor but also binds to NMDA receptors and antagonizes them which reduces pain information in the spine on its transit to supra (above) spinal sites in the brain involved in pain perception, foremost among them the periaquadecal grey which is full of opiate receptors.

Yea its hard for them to understand how there is a drought and some people said some asinine stuff along the lines of the people posting don't have game, are new to the game, ect... but I've been on here a while so I knew otherwise. There markets (these were mostly posters from the thriving open air east coast markets (New Jersey, Pennsylvania, ect...and Chicago). In New Jersey, from what I hear the open air scenes are such that a 14 year old new to the game and an 80 year old laddy have about the same chance scoring as someone whose been in the scene 10, 20 or so years.

I posted a response cautioning them that market forces divert available supplies to places were its more profitable, by comparing gear to petroleum, i used the oil Embargo 0f 74' and oil crisis of 79' which caused a huge petrol "drought" but new supplies were sought and the US started getting crude oil from different sources leading to oil prices to drop dramatically in the 80s. At any rate the Colombians, if the drought continues, I warned, and if the Colombians began transporting #4 along existing coke supply routes (to were its more profitable) the Eastern USA might find itself experiencing a drought as supplies are diverted to the markets of Europe, then they would be the ones crying and frustrated as existing supplies are diverted to the more profitable markets of Europe.

At the most busy and central square of Athens. It's exactly how you described it. The quality is very poor, though you can be lucky and find the man who has the good dope or coke.

He's talking about Omonia Square- says its prety much a crap shoot though, probably because its open air. But he intimates that if you have a solid connection- this is one of the few countries to whether the draught- another enigma of the Drought of 2011.

Well, firstly, I didn't even know there was a drought! At the fall of 2010, I not only had no prob finding heroin ("preza" hehe), but I actually had the best ever on great prices (6-7euros). This last month there is problem coz the police are trying to scare out the dealers and the make more and more investigations. Not that they achieve, or that they 're willing to achieve anything, but just to show to the Greeks that they're actually doing something! So it's just hard now to find good stuff. Don't care though coz I'm off it!

stuff still shite in glasgow have tried 5 different types and they all range from real H heavly jumped on to fake H with some sort of synthetic H init but all low grade . got some right light fluffy gear it was real but bashed up, beetle was see through. got some gear the other day, rocky slate looking that had the synthetic taste to it
Sick of waisting so much money cause i wont buy anything smaller than a teenth . Wish i lived down south where all the good stuff is. cant understand why its not up here too its not like ireland and they need to get it across a border and customs.

Haven't used it so can't vouch for it- and it is appeantly problematic- got to get an account, use a form of currency call biticoins that are hard to trace, add to that some fascist senator is demanding the US Justice department shuts them down (the window might be closing or have closed)- and they have been thrust in the media (including a wired magazine article).

But look back at the drought, I wonder how much suffering and angst might have been averted had people on this thread discovered that web sight during its inception back in febuary and the good were as advertised?%)

yeah, tha'ts how i usually dose my meths, like i have a 20ml in the mornin when the pains at it's worst, then about another 15 in the afternoon, and about 20 at night, before bed. that's when i have my takehomes, as twice a week i can't do this cos i have to drink all at once in the chemist when i pick up, which is really humiliating.

tis s good painkiller, it takes most of it away. but pain makes you craving gear even more, i can't walk about too much, too much pain/hassle, so a lot of the time i've been housebound. plus being on the sick. it's all drug related, a long story, so i suppose i got myself to blame, too many years of abusing my body

so this causes a LOT of boredom, and frustration, so statrts to affect your head, then puts you on a downer, then you crave gear to releive the boredom/depression and hopefully the pain as well. then if you give in, and score a bag, you feel even more peed off, especially as the gear is pretty shite, and if you're lucky relieves for a few hours boredom, then you're ;eft feeling even more frustrated, and so the tedious circle goes on...

anyway, the pain seems to be getting better, bit it's got better before and then come back constant for about a week or so. i've never had pain this much for such a long time before, and i really empathise with anyone who suffers from constant pain. really does start to mess with your head.
what else pees me off is that i was planning on reducing meths and transfer onto subbies this summer, well it's summer now so that's blown that plan all to pot that's a total no no, now that i need meths as a painkiller as well as to stop me from WD's.

i've tried anything i can get my hands on to stop the pain, including alcohol, and benzos, unfortunately, a few weeks ago i drunk a bit too much befoere my clinic appointment, and was a 'tad' under the influence for my appointment. they could see what a state i wazs in, and agreed it would be a good idea to put my meths up to cover the cravings and therefore the pain, or more like the other way round (the can't up the dose for pain but can for cravings and the like), but i had to control my boozing first, well they know (or i've told them) that i don't drink that much, hardly at all (which is bending the truth slightly ) they know i have never been to the clinic under the influence before, and understood that i had a few drinks to control the [pain as i was at my wits end. it's not like i was taking the piss. so they were able to up my dose the following week.
i think that's why i'm back to part supervised, as maybe they think i'm a bit unstable cos of the drink, idk. drink always seems to make me crave gear anyway

if the pain was in my arm, or somewhere, it may not be as bad as at least i'd be able to go out for a walk, you don't realise how much we rely on our legs til something goes wrong. being stuck in the house most of the time, i have a lot of hours to fill. it was total nightmare before, as evertime i tried to read a book, or watch a film, or bit of tinternetting etc, i couldn't concentrate cos of the pain. i even started snapping at my bf, our relationship has taken a bit of a knocking. the poor sod is 50, 11 years older than me, so all he wants is a nice quiet life the poor old bugger lol :D
so if i appear a little snappy or bit grumpy in any of my future posts, please forgive me, it's prolly the pain kicking in again is ok atm, so i can cope so much better when it abates at least a bit. i am wafflling on, it's feels better getting things out, a good ol vent is good for the soul

btw spunny, that link you just posted, mad that is crazy stuff! i always thought wouldn't it be great if you could buy drugs off ebay or amazon obviously not paying by paypal/credit card lol

hopefully the good stuff is making it's way north. seems to be plenty of decent stuff in th south atm. just did a tester yesterday, n it was nice gear, like a mid brown colour, looks a bit like grit/sand texture with a few boulders in it. got a nice nod, a big improvement on the light colour fluffy shit that's been doing the rounds round here. i'm sure that fluffy stuff was bashed with some sort of benzos, or maybe zoppis or something, as all it did was put me to sleep for an hr or so, that was about it. at first i thought it might be the gear that knocked me out, but it was like a different gouch, not as enjoyable. it does have a slight gear taste to it, so prolly some sort of cut with a small bit of h in it. but this other stuff had a stronger taste of h and a nicer, longer nod.

only trouble is it's £40 for half g . don't know where he got it from, it wasn';t Bradford area, but can't have been that far away or he'd be like moaning 'uhh, i've had to go all the way down to Brum/London, to get this' etc etc

so maybe it's making it's way northwards slowly, hopefully!

no i don't get breathalysed, don't know whether anyone else does at my clinic. prolly do have some sort of test for ppl who have proper drinking probs, ppl who drink every day, or go into clinic reeking of booze and intoxicated then again, you wouldn't get any meths at alll then

never heard of that in all my years im a country boy really so just go to service once in a blue moon, and pick up weekly.
the doctor there is getting on my case for no year on year improvements wtf im only on 15 ml that wouldnt hold me without gear.
