I can relate to that m8. You know ur not doing the right thing, n you should wait , but like you say its too fukin easy wen its gettin brought to ur doorstep. Then once u do it in you think shit why dint I hang on.lol. dont feel daft mate I reckon we all done it mor than once.
 
+ 1 on that , I don't think many of us make the best of choices most of the time.
There's some shit in the N/A book about,insanity is making the same mistake over & over again. They got that bit right !

Seriously Brimz, as that day recedes so will any emotional connection to it - and just think, today you're in the same position you woulld of been had you scored decent H. Less money, hardly anything left in your system and fiending for more. That's what's so nuts about using - when I got given coffee grounds one eve instead of brown I was fucked off but I managed not to go straight back out for the real thing. I thought "fuck this", and just settled back with a beer and some v's. The next day I woke up and realised I'm be feeling no different had it been realy gear, probably would of been feeling worse if anything.

Just wait for your main man next time (like you need me to say that!)

Is it really as grim as everyone says? I'm stuck in Dublin today and wondering if there's a street scene for gear. I guess I can't ask for details, just wondering if I'd be wasting my time hitting the streets here. I'll be sick in a few hours, so any info that's allowed would be greatly appreciated.....

@Brimz - what can i say . you know the score when you been at it as long as some of us have then fuck ups are par for the course - at least you got decent W and it the b wasnt 100% bash

Brimz, sorry for your predicament man. Blondin, Charlie, and others regarding Swiss heroin Rx scene- they have a 750 mg pure ceiling per dose, but most drop that down to the 400mgs range. In there experience- 1/3 go on to other forms of treatment.

Have a link that has loads of info on the heroin Rx scheme in switzerland Charlie and Blondin. Had originally wrote it looking for info about the old 86-1992 Zurich Needle park scene but the name of my thread was changed- a compatriot mod took it upon herself to do so. Maybe I'll start a thread in EADD as I might find more people that had been info on the old scene. I have this thing with drug history and geopolitics.

Read the link about decriminalization in the UK. Notice how the people that speak up about the failure of prohibition are ex- officials. People without vested interests whatever they may be.

I'm in Manhattan on vacation in Manahattan- this city has been sanitized through the years. Looking back at the Anglo-American slugfest maybe Australian Drug Discussion should have sent a BL UN peacekeeping force.=D

At any rate despite pockets of enlightened drug policy in this world most of the world still lives in darkness and ignorance regarding drug policy. We are the oppressed, legally sanctioned minorities in the world no matter your ethnicity, religion, background, socioeconomic status. Thats why it is imperative we band together globally to work for more enlightened drug policies and change.

The cold fact is that he need to "hang together or surely hang seperately" in the words of a former British Subject.

I liked the link about the drug war in Mexico, i skimmed it but will read more latter. Its crazy how many people are getting killed down there= on a scale of Iraq during the surge. Anyway, I'll comment more about this latter but corruption is systemic down there. I've heard that the movie traffick is a close approximation of reality, and TJ is like the wild west- an open air drug scene but now kidnappings are a real danger. Still San Diego dopefiends cross the border every day.

Not sure what the ceiling is if indeed there is one in the Uk for the lucky 300 or so who get a DM script but the only 2 people that I know have been on 500 and 550. BUT i have to say that the high is deffo not the same - i use to get DM from a nurse from time to time and tho' similar its not the same ,probably because street smack also contains othyer opiates eg thebain, codeine, morphine etc. and of course its base which i spose also makes a difference.
 
Quick Turnaround

Well after getting crap gear yesterday for the first time in a month after shite stuff for about 6 months,thought I would try another source today as it is pay day.
Paid £xx for teenth and am pleased to say that it is of good quality. Actually had to put the foil down half way through about a bags worth as was making me feel nauseas as so strong.
Never seem to know what we gonna get in our town from day to day but at least good stuff is about again unlike the last 6 months.
If the quality stays good for a while then that will be the end of all the cash I saved throughout the drought.

Presume they are in S London? Are they still getting it and maintained at that level? True, it's not quite the same as brown heroin although people who like one tend to like the other.

Great stuff, jspun. A history of drugs, society and geopolitics, ought to be a degree course. Maybe one day it will. It does appear as if the anti drug war forces are mustering a concerted effort this summer. Avaaz petition, letters to leaders, drug war 'failure' studies all coming at the same time. Interesting to see what will happen next.

Problem is, to the government here Mexico is a faraway place. They can take an attitude that "it's not like that here, it's nothing to do with us." Well, not quite. It's a matter of degree and place in the gestalt. Maybe someday.

At least people can score again, some of the time. Looks like the old SE Asian brown isn't gone for ever after all.
 
i still have not come accross any decent brown in dublin. i scored yesterday + it was still the same weak brown that has being around for months. there is heroin in it but fuck all. i was in city center to day + there was a strange buzz about the place. there was a lot of people hanging around who were totaly out of there minds on some sort of drug. it was weird that there seemed to be so many of them at every corner. maybe tey are always there + im just noticing them more now that im on the look out for a sign that things are geting better? but i saw a load of different people who were so fucken wasted, they could not even open there eyes. maybe they were all on tablets? but i would nearly swear that they had taken brown by the looks of them. it was so strange.

so i went to that street were the brown is always sold + a bloke that i sometimes score off was down there selling. he always has shit stuff lately but he used to have good befor the drought. he said he had a new batch to day, but they always say that! so i did not get any. i am broke anyway. but i had to wonder when i saw so many people out of there faces around town. or maybe i am finaly going mad, i want so much to score something good that my mind maybe is playing tricks on me.

i am really happy for all you in england, you all seem to be able to get good brown now, it must be a huge releif for all of yous. were have all the other irish posters gone? are they geting sorted now or have they giving up?

or you from dublin? if so you could score in the usual places. but there only seems to be shite around. but it would prob hold you for a few hours like. your best bet is to score from someone you know otherwise to will most prob get ripped. i hate to hear of anyone geting sick, fuck that. maybe you mite have more luck trying to score some soup. although that is scarce these days. good luck mate. i wish i had better news for you. look after yourself

Nah one is in cornwall been on the same dose for 10years or so the other in suffolk 5-6 years I think.

THe 'drug war' is just disinfo' the alphabet agencies make billions from drugs thats what funds black ops,

They probably make a difference. I met a pharmacist (chemist) that was doing a research study why one pharmaceutical companies formulation of the same med was more efficacious in some people than anothers. An example is that methadone usually is dispensed as a pink syrup in the states. When I was on juice junkies that would be hospitalized would get the wafers or other preparations and it would hold them better. I thought it was a placebo effect until i courtesy dosed at a clinic that used wafers crushed in orange juice. Anyway, they were unsure what caused this phenomena but they hypothesized that different synthetic routes led to "molecular quirks."

Its my understanding that diamorph comes in freeze dried ampules were as the swiss compound powder diacyetyl-morphine HCl. Not sure if that my make a difference except that I've read on this thread its more cost effective (can't remember who brought it up.)

I know from working as an RN that dilaudid might manage pain in one patient wereas oxycodone or morphine works better/ has a better side effect profile in another. Fentanyl might work better in another patient still. Thats why I think successful replacement therapy should offer flexibility (why not offer opium for smoking or an approximation of #3- with the other alcaloids that probably do influence the effects of the med.

Agreed. This might be a temporary supply shock but I wrote an article that was lengthy comparing heroin to petroleum. anyway Colombian might follow were the markets are, then the USA will be the one with a drought (compared it to the 74' OPEC oil emargo). Anyway my family are bugging me to hit the town so hard to concentrate, I'll follow up later.

Good on you for resisting temptation, I'm really please for you as it's not easy. Especially with all those people kicking about who were out of their faces. Wouldn't be surprised if they had bought the shite kit but topped it off with some Valium.
