Alright Gizmo :) You seem a bit down to-day, i hope your ok? I know how you feel, this drought is starting to feel endless at this stage! But things seem much better in parts of the UK, so it stands to reason that it should pick up here soon!

Its awful getting ripped off, it has happened to me so many times in the last few months that i lost count! I haven't scored in weeks at this stage, there is so so much low grade crap around Dublin. So its probably a good thing if you don't score till the weekend, i'm sure we'll hear soon enough when things get back to normal. Although there are quite a few people that i'll never trust again after them telling me time & time again that "this time they can really get good gear!!" I too have wasted a fortune on dickheads tell me things like that.

So try & keep your chin up, every day is a day nearer to the end of this drought! Keep an eye on this thread coz i will post as soon as i come across anything good, as i'm sure that Griffin & a few of the others will aswell. It could be any day now!!! :)

However there are people out there who would give almost anything for 1 day's worth of grey slate, so the boredome thing was a bit below the belt mate.

hows the west mids mate been getting great gear still from the green, dudley rd still 2 expensive 40 for a .6 but it is worth the 49 mile trip, there and the same back than buy low grade in gloucester any day of the week. When will it all end but yeah blondin,china white back in the day. are lucky to have high grade on the door step. I feel sorry for you dublinites still struggling to get a gouge when most of us with jobs can nod each day if we want if you are close to brum or the smoke

ructions, you've forced me to come out of my lurking shell in the same way the drought initially did...

I have to disagree with you about it not being possible to get bored with gear! When the drought hit, I was bored of all the shit until I found a source of IV methadone and IV morphine coming straight from a pharmacy. I was perfectly happy doing 500mg+ of morphine a day (30mg/ml solution in 2ml vials) and occasionally a nice high dose of IV meth (100-200mg from 50mg/ml in 1ml vials). Due to the meth's acidity I'd always mix 1ml with 1.5ml of morphine so I didn't ruin my veins too much...
Anyway, the point being I could get a great nod from a good day on either but after a while I got bored. I just decided I'd had enough of opiates and wanted to live my life clean. I've done really well and been clean for a few months now. I've had a few slip ups but nothing serious (like multiple days).
Whenever I do slip up (which is becoming less frequent now), I don't really enjoy it as I've fallen out of love with opiates and they bore me now.
I know a number of people who have had a similar experience where one day they just decide they no longer want to use heroin anymore and quit there and then. For me, it was being bored with it that made me stop and I'm sure it's the same for a couple of my friends. It could be boredom with the whole lifestyle that leads you to believe that your bored with heroin but none·the·less I feel that is the same as being "bored with heroin"

Good for you Mr Riddley,
unlike you though Ructions hasn't even had a close encounter of any kind with a nod, gouch, warm fuzzy feeling since the drought started in November 10' .
Most people on here were pulling their hair out when the 'D' started, gradually a few have been able to source good gear again , myself inc of which i'm extremely grateful.
I remember 2 yrs ago when you could swap & change yr man when you got bored with a particular gear or more likely your tollerence adjusted to it .
Your very fortunate to be able to get morphine & meth vials when you want & congratulations on being able to just stop when you wanted to . However Blondin said he would be hunting again soon , so maybe he isn't as bored with opiates as you & your friends are !

Sorry for any offence caused - but Louie hit it on the head - I need a break ! and tbh I am bored of it bear in mind I have been at it for 30 years on and off and after a while of being 'on it' i do get bored - theres nothing like being off gear for a few weeks then really looking forward to a hit and the excitment builds and builds , you score , your in heaven - getting a habit is just that ....'a habit' nothing more - no excitement just normality and that is where i am now- thats why i need a break and a coupkle of weeks i will be raving about it again....the circle of smackerooo.
 
As did I. The guy didn't even have the wherewithal to do his adolescent trolling in this thread, so he deserves any contempt or ridicule that people wish to throw at him.
 
Yeah, people have been hurting, even dying because of this drought and to see some smug prick say the situations been over exaggerated and its just because we don't have the right connects made me do a double take lol. I only clicked on it cos I saw brimz was posting there and was curious as to how Anglo-American relations were faring :) But this isn't about nationalities, i'm sure if that guy was Icelandic he'd be just as big an arsehole.
 
Hi Folks.

Picked up a bit yesterday. To my surprise it was a big improvement. Nice taste & good strength. Hopefully a sign of things to come!

Better be careful, they'll be dumping our tea in Boston harbour next.

i can see all sides of any arguement........ things still arent right are they? funny how longs its gone on, saw a mate who went to norway for the winter, i just emember sitting dumbfounded and shocked with what id just smoked, it did just vanish .... in a puff o smoke.... and yes it gets into yer head...... its alright again here yo yo, see saw , up and down round about, id like to get on without it now, but its all a bit scary really 8o

too expansive to keep a habit now, and theres other thingsi could do like go on my opium tour, yep, vision board here i come, think i ll go to the travel agents while im shopping :D
