Amazing this drought is still going on? Louie I like your European Court idea. Recent rulling on our side of the pond- The US Supreme court found that the number of people locked up in the great liberal State of California a disgrace and rule 5:4 that prisons begin realising I think up to 30,000 prisoners. Problem is that now your gonna have 30,000 people without good job prospects that have been institutionalized dumped on the streets. But in a state of 30 million the fact that even 30,000 people are locked up, the majority on drug related issues is a disgrace. So will see what effect this has on the crime rate.

^^ Yes It is a discrace the they US, the so called "land of the free" has more people incarcarated than any other nation in the world, other than a few 3rd world countrys anyway. The % of people locked up for non violent drug "crimes" , like possesion of weed,coke ,heroin etc.. is crazy. Most of the dealers are not locked up as much as users of drugs who are arrested with what is deemed to be an amount "for sales, or for distribution" which does not have to be kilos, ounce or something, having a few grams of heroin or something can be enough to go to prison for poss. with intent to sell/distribute...1/2 the people arrested or more for "dealing" drugs were not the big dealers, who have local cops paid off, but users who sell drugs to other users and friends to help support their own habits. At least they are selling to other users and not stealing or mugging old women to get drug money..
The people with the large amounts of drugs are sitting in mansions in rich areas, and mostly never touch the drugs, only the vast amounts of cash profits, all the middle men ,and street dealers and users are the ones in jail, etc..

What up brother Davis K? I think that during the cold war I read somewhere that the USA and USSR were the two countries that locked away the largest % of their population. Now its just the USA. Mandatory minimum sentencing turned even some of the most ardent drug warriors off to the drug war- sending a 18 year old to prison for 20+ years because he sold alittle crack to feed his starving family from the projects. Sending peaceful idealist hippies with sheets of acid, just making enough money to put gas in their VW Bus and make it to their next dead show up the river doing 10+ years of federal time (which I guess you have to do 80% of to be eligible of paraloebecause they ruled the blooter paper it was imprgnated in could be weighed as acid- so if you had .1 mg per hit, 100 hits would be 10 mg, then your sheet weighs say 2 oz bout 60 G- if my maths right your 10 hits become 60,000 hits in their eyes- all these constitute human rights violations and is a violation of our constitution's prohibition of cruel and unsusual punishment. Under our system the time is supposed to fit the crime.
But some genious got they idea that money could be made by privatizing prisons. How do you easily fill the prisons, at great expense to the taxpayer, whats the easy way, by filling prisons with non violent drug offenders and targeting the people in the middle and lower echelons. The prisons, LEOs, and "Kingpins" all seem to have a symbiotic relationship making sure those cells are filled. In fact before they were taken down, it was rummored the US left the Arellono-Felix Cartel of TJ alone along as they fed them small fish here and there- eliminating the competition.
In the UK I believe all the Prisons are property of the crown, thus probably less lobyists (our prison guards union has one of the strongest Lobying groups in US politics. After the recent "Tea Party revolution", the Freshman senators and congressman were sent to resorts in Maui and Kauai, 5 star hotels, wined, dined, and given seminars in procedures, an orientation session of sorts, only this was a lecture in how to govern for the Prison Guards Union special interests.
But the brits seem to be cracking down- both at the international level through counterinsurgency and crop substitution/eradication that the UK took the lead amoung US forces but it turned out that the Obama administration, unlike Bush, didn't cooperate with the worlords that move opium and finished heroin to Tajikistan, Persia (primarily) and probably Pakistan for Shipment to Norway, Switzerland, Russia and the former Republics, and the EU.
The reasons for this aren't widely known. Among many theories is a crack unit of Russian, not Tajick, crack border gaurds paid 10 times their normal salary to disuade corruptions- slowing down the Northern route, the floods disrupting the stuff transport and refining infrustructure in Pakistan (I think thats what I was told), Taliban manipulating the supply like they did in 2000. UK LEOs disrupting major big fish in Turkey and Kosovo- families that have been doing it for decades apprently. So if Range Rover goes out of business, it would stand to reason that maybe Lotus, known for quality autos and aircraft, might retool their production facility to produce SUVs, ect in addition to their normal line. So the question is that this drought must be known in the criminal underworld. Colombia makes cacaine and #4. The coke that gets to Europe gets their via Caribean Islands in the dutch Realm, more prominately through Africa on to spain. It gets wacked (or bashed as our cousins across the pond call it.) So the question is why don't the same DTO's cary #4 along already established routes. Compared to the reports I've been hearing, even a substantial cut of the quality that comes outta their would be a big improvement compared to what seems to be on the streets. I'm sure i read somewhere that the new super prison they are building in Featherstone is up for private tender as well.
Almost all the people i know who have done jail have gone there for offences somehow linked to drugs.

Now i have finished a 3 week run of excellent gear (grey slate ) 5v oxy's and loads of blues.Time to have a rest so i have started on 10 tabs of phyceptone and will drop 1 tab a day (5mg) till i get to 10 mgs (where i was before my run ). I am actually bored of gear and will just drink wine and maybe drop a bluey evry now and again but I know my boredome will be short lived so give it a month and i will be out looking again.

Despite budgetary problems and cuts to social programs by the Camerone Government like the NHS, maybe big financial interests have lobbyists in Parliament to fill up these Prisons. With all the drug addicts on the street and in society you have plenty prison cells that need filling by these concern- hence the recent crackdowns. Thing about politicians they like to spend money: its usually their spending priorities and friends that installed them that are different.
In the US during the boom times, before the economy and debt had gotten as out of control, Texas, a natoriously authoritarian and punitive state, there were alot of small towns suffering economically. So private prisons were going to be the saviors. Today, alot of these are bellow capacity- because of lack of budgets for this. The people of these towns were complaining on a national public radio news story a few months ago. But our interest on our debt is greater than Greeces' national debt.
In CA, in the 80s or 90s they came out with the 3 strikes law. Three strikable fellonies some of which are relatively small infractions, if you got three "strikable" felonies you got 25 years- life. Basically a life sentence. Thats a huge reason why our prisons are overcrowded.

Blondin i was one of the people that thought that you deserved a brake on this thread last week, but do you ever stop to think about the way you come across in posts sometimes? Read back over your post, maybe you don't mean it, but you come across as very pompous saying things like that.

However there are people out there who would give almost anything for 1 day's worth of grey slate, so the boredome thing was a bit below the belt mate.

how long is this going to go on for . got a teenth today and it was utter shit ther is no decent kit in glasgow or surrounding areas at all i feel like giving up . the longer this goes on the more i think things are not going to get better for a long time . i seen an article on the internet talking about the smugglers and they said its just not worth trying to get class a into britain now its just to hard why bother when you can use the rest of europe to shift your stuff without the hastle and risk
