I have been scouring Google trying to find ways of cold water extracting codeine from Tylenol 1's(AC/C/C) while minimizing the amount of caffeine in the finished product. excusing my overall knowledge in the field of chemistry- I'm curious to know if the solubilities of codeine and caffeine are greater then another. In theory, if codeine has a higher solubility then caffeine and if I added the right amount of H2O/codeine to saturate the solution, would that minimize the amount of caffeine in the final product?
