This is kind of old.. i wrote it after my breakup with a much loved gf.
a few things you wont understand because the come directly from my life (ie: A-Team was something my friends dad called a group of my friends b/c my name is jay, my friend is nay. and our other friend was Andrew. All having to do with the letter a or the sound of it.)

Refusal--

Why, Why, Why
why does shit always gotta go wrong,
one minute shes in your favorite thong,
singin your song,
the alluva sudden she jus dont belong
to you,

Who, who, who
who is to judge whats wrong and whats right?
one disagreement could start a fight,
far in sight,
the bulb is shinin bright,
shit heres an idea,
let it be,
eventually,
we would all see,
that me n she,
werent ment to be

How, How, How
how does the worst always happen?
it always makes me feel like rappin,
i feel like bein with the one i adore,
who id pull up to shore,
from the bottom of the ocean floor,
all from one scream,
id let off some steam,
get the rest of the A-Team,
and go back to before we even met,
never be heartbroken after a year and 4 months,
never woulda known of the lil runts,
again im sad,
a lil mad,
wishin 2 be a dad.

Where, Where, Where
Where will we be together again?
Here?
There?
Anywhere?
I try not to stare,
but shes a beauty,
my number one duty,
the one i love,
id catch every single dove,
from the sky, shove
my way above,
the rest that feel the same,
i feel so lame.

When, When, When
When should i just give up this hope?
let go of the rope,
like its drenched in soap,
so slippery i just cant hold,
im only 16 years old,
but my heart has been sold,
so should i jus fold?
try to move on?
I refuse
not until im sure theres no chance,
when i know we danced our last dance,
Always gonna wear pants.
But how will i know?
why will it show?
where will i go?
who will let me know?
whether or not to finally let go.

Until that day ----- I refuse.

looking back on life when you are young and the writting that you do sometimes helps you reflect and grow, sounds like this is one of those

great stuff!

its my favorite thing in the world.. when i have less poems on the 1st page ill post my favorite ever... my "forgotten" poem... however, i believe it was this poem that changed my life. when i post it, it will be called "Beginning Again"
