Stimulants redosing amphetamines

I have done extensive research and browsed these forums for answers, but there seems to be a mixed opinion...

Is it really worth it to redose adderall or vyvanse in the middle of the day after a dose in the morning? Or is all my dopamine used up with the first dose?
If I have two vyvanse 60 mg and a 30 mg adderall xr (I have a large tolerance) should I dose them all at once in the morning? I was thinking of dosing the vyvanse in the morning and then the adderall after my workout in the afternoon (I have work and school this day). Any thoughts? Thanks guys.
 
I think that you can re-dose amphetamines with success, but I wouldn't recommend it. When I use adderall or dexadrine, I'll only dose once/day most of the time, but occasionally I will take it in the morning and in the late afternoon/evening. I feel that if you allow for at least 8 hours to pass between dosing, than you will still get positive effects. However, Lisdexamphetamine and Adderall XR are both longer acting than instant release D-amp, so I really would stick to once a day.
 
with redosing time release amphetamines its tricky as hell b/c in my experience the last wave is the most noticeable, enjoyable, and useful. That's with generic orange beads time release adderall atleast. So lets say I redose two pills like 4 or five hours after your first two, the residual adderall is still going from activating a few hours into your high so when those last two hit your high as fuck for the majority of that high, then phased out amped for hours afterwards. good luck tweekin/medicating lol
 
Dopamine? The desired effects of pharmaceutical amphetamines really have nothin to do with dopamine. You can dose twice, and I do all the time, however be prepared for the comedown to be worse. Like a couple weeks ago I did MDMA then redosed with vyvanse, but ended up miserable the next day.

Uhh....amphetamines (and most other stimulants) definately release dopamine. And I'm sure after you dried up your serotonin AND dopamine that you had a horrible comedown from redosing with vyvanse.
 
im prescribed instant release dexedrine/dextrostat tabs... 20mg 4 times a day.. (If this helps, it should explain a lot on the redosing thing by itself, but d isomer only, IR, not extended release)

recreationally, ill take 45-60mg to start a binge/day it lasts longer, and I find myself having to redose 8 hours later...

saves pills too...

anything under my tolerance level and I find myself having to redose every 3 hours give or take an hour..

(both dosing regimes for me, abusing and not, feel the same its just duration... the mindset is abusing or taking correctly, if that makes sense, when I ingest these..) even therapeutically... the "recreational effects" for me only last while it is coming up, but the crash isn't as bad and the effects last almost all day it seems if I swamp myself with one bigger dose to start it out... I will not redose anything bigger than 40 usually but with benzos that goes out the window... I normally redose till I sleep 20-30mg on both scales when I feel I need too...

redosing is tricky but not for the reasons above trust me I've been on these long enough to know better.. up Above in the thread i mean... 9 years on, 8 years prescribed...

Until more recent I was taking up to 250mg a day... I'm glad I'm able to take 80-120 ~100mg a day now, I feel a whole lot better... I could be prescribed another 20mg dose or even 30 4 times a day... I'm thinking of making it 25mg tho so I even out around 100mg.. I'm straight addicted man, these things kick in and I check my blood pressure sometimes and it is lower than before I took them isn't that weird?


I feel people think so (paranoia lol) but I'm not trying to brag or anything... theres people way ahead of me, and methamphetamine users probably laugh at the old dex addict... (me) but this shit is serious too, all amphetamines need to be respected... PEA's have power... most d isomers of amphetamine and its other analogues have a lot of power behind them on many levels... mental effects, not just physical.. especially when you take dextro isomers of the general amphetamine (including methamphetamine, d --- desoxyn)


vyvanse is dextro only, but its different, and the effects and comedown even feel different, lots of paranoia for me...
