Red Smileys | Miami, FL | MDMA+DXM (or 2CTx)?!

These come in Purple and Red.
The pills aren't the greatest looking pills.. kinda soft press and powder comes off on your hands.

I tested these with Marquis and Mecke tests.

Marquis: Tested black but took about 30 seconds to get there.

Mecke: Went straight to RED. After about 2 minutes it faded to an orangey-yellow.

I haven't tried these and probably won't- some friends tried them and said they 'rolled hard'- one saying he hallucinated a bit..

These Mecke results were weird.. looks like there's a 2CTx compound in my pills.. ? Mecke does NOT test for speed, btw.

I'm so confused if these have a 2CTx compound or DXM in them.. I am not planning on taking these.. but I also don't want to give them to friends that aren't as educated about ecstasy and end up in the hospital (or worse) due to water intoxication

As far as your results go, they are very strange. Perhaps they are a mixed (MDxx + 2CTx) pill? A 2CTx compound should turn orange/red with Marquis tho...this is very puzzling since the Marquis went black. Did you notice any other colors in the Marquis before it turned black?

I want to say that the Marquis did first turn red, which could confirm the 2CTx idea..
I have to go take an exam, but I will retest when I get back and let you know!

I really appreciate your help.. I worry about my friends with these sorts of things.. I try to educate them as much as possible- some people just don't listen (give a fuck).

Okay, I just retested.

0-5 seconds: Straight to dark red
5-20 seconds: Dark red to maroonish-purple
20-35 seconds: Maroonish-purple to jet black

It turned black a little faster than I thought, but it was definitely red from the start.
Safe to say we have a 2CTxx compound?
