Red blotch around injection site (meth)

I'm new to this site so I'm sorry if I'm posting in the wrong area or anything , I haven't quite figured out how to use this site although I've searched a lot of stuff on here before , just new poster . I made my account specially to ask this question because I couldn't find any answers when I tried looking it up .

So I just injected meth into the right crook of my arm & now I have a red blotch around the injection site & it was burning after I took the needle out . This was a few minutes ago & the burning as gone away now & I can see the redness going down as well but I am just curious to know why my skin had this reaction ? I didn't miss my shot , I registered blood , started to push , I was shaky & nervous the needle might slip out so I stopped & drew back again to make sure I was still in the vein , I was . I did this one more time before finishing off the shot too . No bumps , no swelling , just red blotchiness . Also , I know I didn't miss because I felt the rush ( the icy throat & whatnot) . Do y'all think this would've been a reaction to the needle maybe ? It's basically new , I only used it once before earlier today (I had another clean rig but when I was preparing my shot my mom knocked on the door & I jumped & the needle bent in half ): , that's why I had to reuse this one from earlier) . Or maybe it's a reaction to the cut of the meth ? Or maybe there was some meth on the outside of the needle ?
Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated , I just like to be very well educated on everything involving the drugs I do .

well what do ya know? Just blasted off myself. How big is the blotch? Is it getting better or worse? It could be a number of things. Most likely s little bit leaked out when you pulled the needle out. Clean real good and run under hot water. It's either gonna get better or worse. If it gets worse you know what to do.

Wash the site with alcohol swabs and an antimicrobial gel wash, don't attempt to use heat/cooling until there is observable inflammation and get some Loratidine/Cetrizine.

Never re-use needles or injection sites, seriously. It ain't rhetoric as much as it is avoiding significant harms to the vasculature, the limb and your entire system.

Meth is one of the most caustic drugs to inject, it destroys veins very quickly.

To get a similar high to shooting up meth with an even longer duration and smoother crash, try plugging it. It's super simple, you can re-use oral syringes after cleaning (don't share), and is much more sanitary and simple than the Russian roulette of proper meth injection.

I've never tried meth, but people here will tell you in droves that plugging meth gets you spun. Most like it even better than shooting meth, saying it's just as pretty much just as good as just as addictive.
