Recurring oxycontin withdrawal

Hello guys, this is swim first post:


Swim used 140 mg oxycontin daily and crushed for about 1year. After he detoxed and managed to stay clean for about 6 months, its likr swim is a nom tolerant people again? Can he use again for just 1 or 2 times without problem, or he will have withdrawal from that minor use?

In my own experience, nothing even approaching the level of usage you describe, the answer is a disappointing NO.
Last year I quit taking my usual dose of oxycontin for my pain, at that time if I added a vic or a perc I would feel high.
I found 6 months later ( after no opiate use) I found my tolerance had not moved a bit, as I tried my regular dose and never felt the high until after I added the extra perc or vic...
Let me know what you find out about your associates tolerance level.

swim just swallowed 40 mg of oxycontin after exactly 6 month without opiates. swim felt like his tolerance was lower, about 60 per cent, wich is a good thing, altough his biggest concern is if tomorrow morning he will wake up with withdawall or not??? this is his only fear, since he want to use it like once or twice a month, without having withdrawall. Swim really appreciates if someone had any exprience to describe.

nothing more than a upset stomach and sleepy, good bud will fix that every time or at least it does for me for the most part.

also i ended up taking 180 mg this night ( its 4 am at my place right know) and im going to sleep know. I give u guys my feelings later

Although you experience withdrawals faster after you have had withdrawals for the first time, one use won't put you back into withdrawals after a 6 month break. If you use for 3-4 days in a row then you will have minor withdrawals, and each day you use after that it will become more severe.

By the way, we don't use SWIM here (notice nobody else is using it) as it is against the rules here.

Edit: How did you end up taking 180mg? I thought you said your tolerance had gone down a lot, and it used to be 140mg of oxycodone. What gives?

tks for the advice tomboy, i hate ´´swim´´ anyway.

so far im prerfect, just feeling confortable sleppy.

how did i end up with 180 mg since my tolerance was lower and my average dose (doest mean i always used 140 mg, sometimes i used more n sometimes just less, depending on what i wanted to feel like) was 140 mg? well, call me crazy, but i was feeling well and since my plan is doing 1,2 a month i decided to take more, and worked just fine! amazing high without any disconfort (with anti-histaminic and 5 mg xanax)
