You're idea more closely conveys the type 1 (Ampketamine) where the synthesis is followed for ketamine substituting methylamine for amphetamine.

In the type 2 (methamketamine) reductive amination is performed between K & meth, i calculated that there are 8 stereoisomers to consider in this case though.
