In the first one, which is truer to an nboH, the oxygen of the NBOH overlaps where the oxygen would be on the amide, and if you switch the ring to a piperadine, then the nitrogens overlap as well.
2nd one I kept the D ring and instead drew a ring structure based on the ortho position of the hydroxyl group on NBOH's (ie 3 carbons away from the phenethylamine nitrogen) and bonded it back to the D ring.
