Rectal morphine NOT kicking in...What did I do wrong?

Ok so here is what's happening, last night I plugged 30 mg of liquid morphine (three injections from a 5ml syringe) and drank a further 40mg. It was great, I nodded off nicely. The all of the stuff took about three hours to kick in (from the first injection)!

Tonight I plugged 40mg in four injections of with 20 minutes inbetween each one starting at around 2:00am. It is now 5:50am and I feel NOTHING! I don't expect anything like last night, but I should be feeling something considering I have little or no tolerance.

Please tell me what I have done wrong :)

If it's controlled release liquid morphine (it comes in both IR and controlled release formulations here) then it may need to go through the digestive tract in order to be released. If that's the case the effect you got last night was purely from what you swallowed, and the reason you're getting no effect today is your ROA.

I think that might be the case... Well that's a real bummer considering I just wasted 25ml of the stuff :( Oh well, thanks a bunch though :)

Just out of curiosity, what is the science behind the controlled release liquid? As in, how would they stop the liquid from being absorbed into the system when it hasn't passed through the digestive tract?

Did you clear your bowels? Lol, that's the biggest factor in effectively plugging...
