Recreational use for Lorazepam?

I could not find very much information on Erowid so I thought I'd get some info here... I can get 10 1mg tabs...
Questions:
1)what is a recreational dosage?
2)what precautions should I take?
3)can it be snorted?
any feedback is much appreciated

Yes, this has rec value. It is also called ATIVAN. Similar to klonopin, similar effects. like other benzos, goes well with alcohol.
edit-> and yes you can snort it. i do.
check rxlist for dosage.. don't know off-hand.

I guess because when you snort something it gives you the impression your doing a better drug..
I'd rather snort something than swallow a pill. No real reason in particular..

Lorazepam absorbs better through mucous membranes than when taken orally, which is why they make Ativan Sublingual tablets... you put them under your tongue and let them dissolve, and attain peak plasma concentration in about half the time it takes orally.
(you can't do that with a normal Ativan though)
Anyway, that's why you'd snort it.
