Bupe Recreational Methadone V.S. Suboxone

Which do you preffer between methadone and suboxone if you were to use them recreationally?

Also, how much methadone is 8mg suboxone equivalent to in your opinion?

p.s. Does snorting suboxone make it any more euphoric?
 
Methadone (at least the pill kind, never tried that liquid/wafer stuff for maintenance) is my 2nd favorite opioid. The high is supreme and the nod is good, ime. Buprenorphine has recreational potential and has a much for stimulating high, though not as potent, imo.
 
i gave 4mg of sub to afriend that was in jail for 3 months ,he split it with a friend ,it had the puking and nodding so hard they were about to call ambulance ,they were at a wood pile behind there house and had to crawl back no shit either

Methadone is a more traditional mu-opioid while buprenorphine has a lot more action at different sites making it a different experience. Most people would probably prefer the former but it's a matter of personal preference.

You have to be careful about comparing a single dose versus how they are often studied (as opioid dependance therapy), because their half lives differ. Not for any reason I can think of unless placebo. Buprenorphine in your blood is buprenorphine in your blood. Different routes of administration might result in differing levels of absorption and time to peak action, but it just has more to do with how high you get.
 
me personally i would prefer alot of methadone, but remember a lil bupe go's a Long Way , im on the subs now mixed with lyrica its a pleasent but different/akward feeling.................
 
methadone. any day any way over bupe

id take codeine or fucking tramadol over bupe... well. maybe not tramadol
 
I've been told by most people and online sources that at th point where suboxones opiate effects plateau, it has the agonist activity of 30 mg of methadone. I've also heard 50 and 60, but nothing above that. And I believe suboxones cieling limit is definately reached at 6-8 mg for me when taken sublingually. I'm on suboxone now, so of course I'd like to switch it up and take some methadone, but if I were completely non tolerant on opiates, I would go with suboxone, as it is the only drug that has ever allowed me to stay really high for two, sometimes three days. Methadone just lasts one day followed by a shit hangover
