recreational dose of xanax with no tolerance?

What's the basic recreational dose and effects for someone with no/very low tolerance?

I used to get overzealous with dosing and would take 10mg within a short time and always knockout in the past

I take 2 bars but that's a little overboard for most. One bar or 2mg of xanax is a pretty appropriate recreational dose. I personally like 3-4mg and probably have a little tolerance but not much.
 
you said you used to take 10mg before? then you have like a big tolerance if i understood right... i'd say a normal dose would be 2-4mg like said before (at least for me). takin a third bar you'll start to forget stuff.. but hell 10mg, that'd pass me out for sure

also, you asked for rec use and effects.. well, at least for me (and some other people too), benzos dont have rec value at all. when i first got my hands on them i tried to get high on them, but they definitely dont have a high/buzz (like alcohol for example). you know, take 2-4mg, you wont FEEL anything, but you'll definitely be more social, outgoing, chill (if you're shy, other people may notice you a bit different)... and if you start taking more... prepare to forget things, then black out and pass out..

i'll tell you the last time i tried rec with benzos (+alcohol), it was on a thursday night party. i had an entire tab of bars with me (15 bars). i started drinkin, the party sucked, then maybe i took a bar, then another.. bam, next thing i know i wake up and its MONDAY, and i dont remember a single thing and the tab is EMPTY... so... yeah...

Dont exceed 3mg, youll risk a blackout. 2mg is a solid dosage. Youll be feeling pretty good off 2 mg. I took 3 mg last year with no tolerance and blacked out, not even any booze involved. For a 190 pound male who is somewhat experienced with drugs, really surprised me.

To whoever said benzos have no recreational value, they certainly arent speaking for everybody. I get a supreme sense of well being on a strong dose of Xanax. And I know several others personally that eat Xanax to get high, not just the anti-anxiety effect.

Try not to make a habit of eating Xanax OP, benzo withdrawals suck ass.
 
A crazy work college once gave myself and my boss a half bar, .5mg at work once cause my boss said he was a little stressed. Needless to say, it was a powerful knock for a first time benzo user, more then unfunctional in a work capacity for a little while.

My boss just sat in his chair and didn't move for like an hour. I Wouldn't take more then that the first time. It might have been a full bar but im sure it was half.

Anyways, zolpidem is way better for rec usage, xanax just never had any euphoria. Great anit anxiety effect but nothing to make it actually fun.
 
You really only need .5-1mg. Not sure why several mgs are being suggested. You'll just get more tired with dose, there's no magic to it.
 
^No, increasing the dose does a lot more than simply increase sedation.

I think 2mg is a nice dose if you're new to the chemical.
 
10mg? Are you sure?

I consider 0.5mg recreational for myself. 1 mg and I'll be sleeping within a few hours. Much more than that and I'll wake up not remembering how I got to sleep.
 
My first encounter with Xanax was far from recreational or enjoyable. This kid. In middle school gave me a few peach .5s, nieve as I was I snorted .5, and my legs felt like jello,I was tired, felt spacey and disoriented , didn't like it. I learned to be dependent on them over the years of course. My second encounter, I found my dads 1,g blue football Xanax bottle,I hurriedly took. 6mg, total blackout ...didn't even know that strong
 
2mg xanax bar for someone with no tolerance is enough to have them pass out on the couch, but everyone is different, after 3yrs off benzos, I took 1mg, and felt pretty nice, 2mg would of been too much for my 150lbp small self lol
 
GUYS! Were gonna have to do some serious Harm Reduction here. You guys remember the SPED class and the kids on the short bus in high school.This poor lost kid is MR Front seat short bus himself and he missed his stop by 3 counties. I caught his cry for help last night so i looked at his profile.. this dude is actually heading to the graveyard if he isnt already there. AND man somebody needs to be firm and explain a few things. ( Actually LISTEN up kid ) Im sure your a great kid you just have to stop being a sketch bag and get your crap together. You have to realize what your doing and you need to do it now. This adderall your over abusing and constantly going in severe paranoia is NOT normal.

Your gonna have to choose if you wanna live past your 20th birthday or keep lying and blaming your parents and your brother for your severe chemical dependence. Your mom has every right to spy on you because she knows what your up to and shes doing it because she loves and cares about you. But your so far gone abusing your drugs that you scare the living crap out of her. Your gonna have to face it. Your uncontrollably angry because of the amphetamines and your parents are afraid your going to hurt them.

Just like that police officer that arrested you. HE knows better than to hurt a harmless kid. You made a fist out of aggressive rage, but didnt have the balls to tell the truth again. But reading your message that you advertised to COMPLETE strangers for attention over the INTERNET for someone to feel sorry for you because your stuck in your little lala methamphetamine dream world, where everything goes the way you want because your brain thinks itll be ok because its set to survival mode so it protects itself from brain damage. In all honesty you probably have a couple of weeks left before you drop down and start foaming out of the mouth. And ive seen it before. You came to the right website to hear REAL drug induced horror stories. I just hope to god you dont have a stash of adderall somewhere so you can access it because i think its time to GROW the hell up and give those pills to your father. The part im worried about is the 250mg or grams of "powered" xanax you have from a reliable source. Well guess what Xanax doesnt come in powder and finding your moms stash of pills and crushing them up does NOT count as a reliable source. They could be expired and mixing uppers and downers is a death sentence. You know when people die from drugs and you hear it on tv. IT actually happens believe it or not. and most of them go by "accidental overdose" aka. mixing drugs.

So if you want to change and start repairing your bridges with "real" people around you. your going to have to throw the xanax away. This stuff is NOT a game. Drugs are NOT cool. And hearing it from a website with a drug user telling you this MUST mean your doing something wrong. The only reason im telling you this is because one of my friends just died from Benzos and an undeveloped selfish kid that HAS NO clue what hes getting into because he thinks its a game and the drugs make you feel invincible cant be any more wrong that that statement right there. If your doing 10mg of xanax at one time.. SOMETHING is watching over you. Because taking that after a 3 day bender to get some sleep can KILL you. If you take my message as a threat then just know that i tried to help. You should honestly tell your parents you need help and everything will work itself out to normal faster than you think. And if you choose drugs because your a weakling and let some stimulants ruin your families life, then just know that she tried to help you but you scared her too much because being a liar and telling people on the internet how many pills you can do without eating or going for a piss is the least impressive thing ive ever seen. And ive seen a lot of low lives at their finest.

Dont act on impulse.. take a methamphetamine minute have a shower and calm down and think things through. If your too afraid to talk to your parents. Make a friend on here and im sure some good hearted person will call them for you and you wont even get in ANY trouble. AND one more word of great news. IM also on adderall and that stuff makes me NON talkative and non impulse driven for concentration so YOUR CURED. And i know you already know all of this Good Luck and i hope this turns out good. or im calling dr. phil lol

Read the crap that username321 kids writing.. its MESSED . i dont think he knows drugs are for real and he thinks hes cool and gaining popularity.. Sorry if it bothers you.. i just dont wanna see this youngster do something in a mobile coma

0.5 - 1 milligrams is optimal for someone with no tolerance. anything more than that and you'll pass out.

eeerm. i did read that. but i'm on the side of the fence that benzodiazepines aren't inherently euphoric.

for a first timer, taking 2 milligrams of alprazolam is far too potent. if you wanna sleep the "euphoria" aka anxiolysis away then be my guest. if you want to experience the real properties of benzodiazepines, take no more than a milligram. with no tolerance, that will blow you away.

bars are something i take to knock myself the fuck out and i've been on benzodiazepines for almost 6 years.
