True story

Dont go by the rating on IMDB thats just because the americans dont like that the truth was shown about their CIA .. this film was great to see the truth revealed about the people we are meant to trust !!!

I joined a discussion on their boards and all they could do was moan that the story was making them look bad

It is in fact a great film and very interesting indeed

^ yep that well worth a watch

I have the Bourne Ultimatum to watch later, looking forward as the other two I enjoyed also

Sebastian Junger, author of The Perfect Storm, teamed with photographer Tim Hetherington and spent a year embedded with the Second Platoon in Afghanistan, chronicling the hard work, fear and brotherhood that come with repelling a deadly enemy. Hunkered down with the soldiers in one of the region's most strategic valleys, the filmmakers uncover the dark humor, sleepless surreality and constant anxiety of war in this Oscar-nominated documentary.

Just finished this movie/documentary... excellent!

We were heros/ we were soldiers

seems there is a title difference in countries

Anyway great war film but from learning more about the true events of that day some of the films reality was changed by geuss who mel gibson so that he could look the big man, no surprise there then eh

Still really good film , one of my fav war films tbh

as far as modern/recently made war films go, we were soldiers is pretty decent yeah.

Black Hawk down imo is the best war film released in the past 10 years or so.

I went to see Thor last night. For the first 10 minutes I was really regretting it cus I thought it was gunna be crap (and we paid £16 for seats in the directors lounge! - super comfy tho :D) but it was really really good.

Another bad part was the ending, purely cus I didn't want it to ever end! Can't wait for thor 2 :P

Not a new release, but saw From Hell yesterday and loved it - lush Victorian London, prostitutes in amazing dresses, opium/laudanum, gore and Johnny Depp. My prefect film! Hehe :D

watched blood diamond last night, seen it plenty of times but this time it really got to me, that sort of shit is happening in africa 24/7 every day of the year, people getting murdered, women and children raped, its just not right :(

That's the same feeling I got when I watched it. I almost switched it off even though it was free! I'm really glad I bared with it because it was funny, and very enjoyable.

I watched Sin Nombre last night, brilliant film. I can't recommend it enough!

I don't know if it was recommended in here before or not but The Lincoln Lawyer is class. I watched it the other night.

I just watched Neds, for most of the film I was surprised at how good I thought it was. I had expected it to be pretty shite. Then I got to the ending. It is shite lol.

Edit - I watched Thor over the weekend as well, thought it was no bad. Decent enough superhero/action movie.

Just skimmed the last few pages (fuck going through the whole thread) and couldn't see any mention of "The Human Caterpillar".

Good if you're in the mood for something wrong. Really wrong.
