i also watched a film called Romper stomper the other day, i had seen it befor years ago. it was quite good worth watching any way.

The first Elephant short-film is a bonus in the french dvd of Gus Van Sant's Elephant (don't know if the bonus is in other dvds).
 
oh... i got it into my head they were talking about 'This Is England'. so that's a bit of a coincidence.

The Firm is fucking excellent too. never seen Elephant but i'll look into it, cheers. :)
 
Gus Van Sants Elephant is good as are Scum and The Firm. There's a new 'The Firm' out loosely based on the original but set in modern times. I don't reckon it's up to much.

Scum is a brilliant film! Who's the daddy now! :D

also liked Elephant, the (the school shooting one? not read the last page) very unique film want to see it again actually

good but preferred This Is England, DMS was just a pretty brutal film, good (the acting was top) but not as clever as This Is England

nah not seen it, saw it mentioned on the DVD cover, will have to check it, is it grim?

edit: just briefly looked at its wiki doesn't look grim, looks good tho :)
