Watched loads of films this week.

Room 1408 was a weird one, bit of a head fuck. Reminded me of bad 2CB and Ket trips I've had. Not sure about the ending though. Apparently there are two, my mates seen it before and said it was different this time. Was an average film but watchable.

Role Models was another, was suprisingly funny and I tend to dislike these Hollywood comedies.

No Country For Old Men, was alright but a bit slow in parts.

I quite liked Room 1408. It might have been because I was expecting a terrible film and wasn't given one. It was definitely a headfuck!

Watched Rock n Rolla last night. Good film, typical British geezer type film.. The guy at the start when it describes what they're all about is class :D

Prob give Black Dynamite a go later on. Or maybe Harry Brown... Haven't seen any of the other films in relation to Black Dynamite, so the humor could possibly be lost on me :\ We'll see......

Just watched some cheesy ones but were not that bad . . . the movie ADAM, The time Travelers Wife, and The Legend of Billy Jean 1985 -- find it really weird that Michael Jackson's Billy Jean was written before the Movie was released yet the song is not in the movie itself at all. . .

kinda weird . . .and Sony was the film company. . . anyway that's about it for this last week.

You watch loads of films when you are away travelling?????? 8)

Only just watched "Sunshine" yesterday (Directed by Danny Boyle) and I thoroughly enjoyed it :)
Fantastic soundtrack by Underworld. Sure, the actual science is a little bit inaccurate but they did get Brian Cox involved (one of my favourite people in the whole world! ^_^) so they did get a lot of teachings about particle physics.
But yea, top shit yo ;)

I can't remember much of Sunshine, watched it a friend's place in the midst of a blackout and kept passing out/waking up randomly not knowing what was going on :\ Should really watch it again :D

I watched this the other night, been meaning to see it for ages:

I thought it had already been on Ch4 and I'd missed it, but it's coming up on Film4 due to them having a big ol' Danny Boyle season hoe down.
Could be wrong though. But yea mate, I definitely recommend you check it out.
It's also interesting to read up about the things Boyle put the cast through too to get them to act in the exact way he wanted :) Part of that was to get them to live together for something like 4 months or shumfing shumfing.

Oh, goodmorrow all by the by :)

Absolute grade A classic.
And he's just made a semi-sequel thats supposed to be really good, where he has everyone played by different characters and you get to see how Mr Paedo has to deal with the difficult world of the just released pederast......something certain people on here may take to heart!

I am going to watch one of my horror films tonight, watched Nightmare on Elm street the other day and of course it wasn't like watching back in the day......am wondering that they may possibly make a decent stab at the remake. I mean certain horror remakes DO work....any one says that DOTD 2004 is wank needs to be shot!Amazing ending does it alone!

ps TG Jessica Lang is STILL fit! Although I LOVE that film for how wrong they get everything compared to the original...apart from her.

Oh god yea I remember that flick! ^_^
It was very entertaining and I was pleasantly surprised by Forest Whitaker's performance :)

Rock n rolla was fairly shit i thought. i hated the bit at the end when the bloke had quit drugs so now he was a proper rock n rolla, cheese burger

Guy Ritchie.
FUCK OFF CUNT.

Oh look I can do all the camera effects which means I can do everything else...including a decent script :| and not annoying mockney cunts all over everything.

Gangster No.1 Is the only Brit-Gangster flic I got through, which suggets its good.Sexy Beast is also good.
Get_Carter_poster.jpg

Has a totally misleading poster which makes it look like some type of psycedelic Whitesploitation flick;)
But its in the 10 ten british films ever made.
Top 1 is Withnail. I'm outside your house right now with Uncle Monty who intends to take you, even if its by force if I don't have the full agreement of you on all these topics....or an incredibly good reason why;)
