recently prescribed 5mg oxycodone hcl (12 a day) & Valium 5mg 4x dau

Hey everyone I'm new to this sight and I have some questions. I'm due for major back surgery in July due to severe spinal stenosis. My neurosurgeon recently prescribed me oxycodone hcl 5mg 12 a day (I have a high tolerance) and today added 4 5mg Valium a day for muscle spasams. I've read different things how this could be good or bad. I have no Benson tolerance. Will this combo increase euphoria? Anything I should look out for? Any responce would be great

Since you are supposed to be spreading it out over the whole day, I see no problems...

But sedation is going to be there. I recommend folowing orders and don’t try to get high along with the valium... That is asking for an od if you really get off in too deep...

Lol benzo *** I did not even notice that till just now. I was asking because there are so many different opinions on benzos and oxy together. I've been taking opiates for almost 4 years now (oxy,hydro,trams) I'm at about a 120mg a day dosage of oxy recently. The only benzo I've ever taken was some. 5 Xanax before a MRI. I suffer from daily panic attacks so the valium just seemed to make me feel normal. I just want to make sure I'm safe.

start low on your dose and work your way up to where you wanna be you can always take more but never less
