After the smash hit "Friday" I'm eagerly waiting for her album to drop. It's great to see some lighthearted, fun music in a sea of negativity and violent music.

Any other fans out there?

she a good kid probably, ill give you that, but i have to disagree with you guys. her mother purchased that song and its production for her..its just like brittney spears and some of these other hacks that are so popular. Apparently that old fashioned notion of "talent" need not be involved in the launch of a music career anymore. Its all over produced auto tuned unlistenable fuckery I say!!
Its disheartening to think that kids today listen to this stuff, it seems that the amount of production invoved in pop music is often inversely proportional to the amount of ability or talent. I mean have you watched the MTV music awards in the last 5 years? Holy Crap its all bells and whistles and dancers and explosions and fancy footwork and outfits and i think they have to do that to distract us from the fact that the singers/songs/lyrics are horrible!
Im not trying to bash the poor kid, just all the people in the music industry who create and package this crap. The irony is that song by Rebecca has become so popular because its so bad, i do appreciate that! its kinda funny. Ok, sorry for the rant. i just really hope people don't think this is real music, but to each is own i guess

It saddens me to know that it is easier to become famous by making the worst song in history rather than making the best song in history. As a musician I die a little bit inside every time a new song like this comes out and gains huge recognition. I can't hate them though, given the chance I would do the same thing if I knew it would bring me in a couple million dollars.

These days, it's all about the $$$. That's the single measure of success. It doesn't matter how you get the $$$, only that you get it. It doesn't matter if you have talent or if you're a good person or if you've contributed something important to your field of endeavor. It's sad, but true.

I find it hard to fault a 13-year-old for this... I can fault the people behind the scene, though...

This song is fucking awesome. My only worry is that she won't be able to make something that unintentionally funny again, because the next thing she does will be far too measured, given all the attention she's had.

the song is "awesomely bad" and uh yeah was "pradaman" being facetious, the name pradaman is suspect, i cant tell

i'm a big fan of OP. he's a good troll.

anyway.....

yes, sad but true. however, i would give my left testicle to come up with some awful one hit wonder and then move to hawaii and live off the residuals.

There's some good deeply ironic covers of that song floating in youtube, check out averyellis. Someone did a techno VS, mashup of it as well.
