Really, what's so great about weed?

its a mild drug, unlike most recreational drugs(lsd, opiates, mdma) there is no 'rush' or euphoria-nothing even close to mdma. the high isn't so overpowering that you forget all your problems. compare coffee to speed- both make you more awake, but caffeine doesn't give you the bug eyed "IM WIDE FUCKING AWAKE" feeling that amphetamines give you. its more of a "im not tired anymore" feeling. its a mild drug, and really makes me feel level if anything.

I believe I've heard quite a few accounts of how it is possible to completely disrupt your ability to enjoy cannabis by having used MDMA in excess. And to some it will just appear dull or downright stupefying after a good old psychedelic.

I've seen this happen before. After I took a good break from MDMA the old highs come back though.. Just my 2 cents

dude you said the exact reason why people like it. it gives you a little bit of a lot of different effects. its calming yet stimulating in ways, and has slight psychedelic qualities. however, it does not go overboard on anything, so it can be used a lot.

its almost impossible to overdose on weed, cos if ya yet too baked u can't move, and u can't take any more, or u fall asleep. Its safer than any other drug that exists.
