Hey guys I'm really worried right now, for about 2 hours now I've lost complete feeling of my right index finger and my palm has a tingling sensation. I can still move my index finger, but it has no feeling. Nothing is painful, and there's no physical signs from it on my hand.

I last used today around 3:30 (it's midnight here now), same amount of the same batch I've had for the past 4 days. I'm also not an IV user. I'm on the east coast, I get powder so I've always snorted it. I'm only 19, I eat healthy and I used to work out 4x a week up until 3 months ago. I don't know what else could of caused this other then H. I didn't have work today so I've been resting up just chillin at home.

I'm kind of scared to use again until I have feeling back so I'm going to put it away until I know what's up. The last thing I want to do is go to the doctor right now, but I understand if it gets worse I really need to go and it would be smart to go now. I'm just curious if anyone else has ever had this, it's really bothering me and I'm really paranoid I'm going to have to get my finger cut off or something.

Nah It's been around 6-7 hours since I first blew down, but I don't understand why else this would be happening.

Is it possible your hand has a cramp or you've been applying pressure on it funny?

Generally if your hand or portions thereof go numb it should be temporary. If you're not injecting anything then I see no reason to suspect a bloodclot or anything else but I suppose it's possible. I wouldn't be quick to blame the heroin though.

Keep a warm compress on your finger for an hour or so and see if that helps it at all. If the numbness spreads or it persists for more than a few hours, or if you notice you've got no circulation (try pushing down on the affected nailbed and see how quickly color returns - or if it's obviously lost bloodflow and turned purple) you should probably consider seeing a doctor.

I was laying on my couch and it's a possibility I was laying on my hand or something, but usually when that happens I get the feeling back within minutes. It's also usually a painful tingling sensation that when I touch it, it hurts or gets worse but right now that isn't the case. It feels lighter then that in my palm, but my finger is just no feeling at all. I'll try a warm compress right now and see how that goes. thanks guys
