Really MDMA even if it shows that on the test?

Hey guys!

Need some advice/help please!

I have tried MDMA before (few months earlier) at 130mg and it was awesome.
Last weekend I was out with my friends. None of them had tried MDMA before.

So we bought 1g and split it among us using mdma calculator.
We even gave less for the chicks, cause they are more sensitive.

I know how MDMA should feel (I guess, cause I tried once before).
I have a question about this trip.
This time I took 147mg (my weight is 80 kg).

At the club, after 45 min ingestion, one of the chicks started to get dizzy. She asked me if she should feel like that.
I responded: no (cause I thought if was from the beer she drank earlier started to kick in).

- After 15 min I started to get dizzy too. Strange I thought, we only had one beer.
Then I felt like I wanted to vomit, but didn't.
- After 10-15 min the “euphoric” feeling came, it wasn’t so intense cause the dizziness/"tipsy" was still there.
At the same time I had no energy, like I remembered I had last time I used MDMA Neither did the music sound pleasant. More like it was too loud!

I didn’t recognize any of the “symptoms” from previous MDMA tripp.

Even the “euphoric” feeling was over within 30 min. And there was no “magic”.

All that was left was dizziness, insomnia. Not so much depression as expected.
All of my friend had same feeling. It was over too fast too be MDMA I thought.

What confuses me is that, before the trip I tested the MDMA batch with ez-test and purity-test. (this time I had different batch and seller, than previous trip ofc)

On this trip when I was doing the purity-test I accidently spilled almost half of the purity-test when I was shaking it.

But the remaining sample did show "high" content of MDMA, even after 30 min.

I’m still trying to google about this "symptoms", cannot find anything. What went wrong? The ez-test showed MDMA immediately. But what I understand is that MDMA should last 3-6 hours!
I’m not using other drugs, no medication either.

What I remember is that I got exactly same "MDMA test-results" from the first trip. So I expected that I should feel/expect same trip!

Best regards
Erik

The EZ test will show MDMA even though there is only a very small amount of MDMA present in the sample.

Since you didn't use the purity test correctly you unfortunately cannot rely on that result.

I had a bad batch of MDMA before (tested good with 5 reagents) that got the best result on the purity test, the only thing that was different was an almost invisible line on top of the liquid, that should not be present if the sample only contains MDMA. I didn't notice the almost invisible line before I tested the batch again after my bad experience...

Your experience sounds almost as what I experienced when I got the bad batch of MDMA. Throw it out and try again with a new batch. It's a good thing you tested it though, so keep doing that even though some bad stuff is hard to detect :)

There is no point in trying to figure out what's actually in your batch, it could be a bunch of different stuff. When a whole group get the same shitty effects even when everybody took normal, safe doses, it's safe to say it's not pure MDMA, so throw it out :)

That being said, if you take to much MDMA you can get dizzy and feel overwhelmed at the come up and during the peak (music can feel too loud and being at a rave can feel too challenging). But changing the setting usually makes it feel amazing again. :)

Test kits cannot be fully trusted. They're a great resource and should always be used, yes, but occasionally things will slip through the net. I would try a different batch and see if that's better, or you could send some of this batch to a proper lab if one is available in your country.

luxury, thanks for the reply!

Which test did you use for purity? And do you have info about the "invisible" line?

Regarding the what actually was in it - I was curious cause I would like to know wha drug it could have been. Cause I don't want that in the future :X
Maybe this batch may work the setting in home environment?

terrace, ahh that's bad. So it's a roulette then, can never be sure if it's 100% MDMA or mixed with something.

It's time consuming, cause when I save my trip for something special, I (might) get disappointed, cause the batch could be something else! Have to wait another 3 months!

Is there a way to eliminate that, except to be a chemist :P

Ez purity test. If there are any reactions in the test that you're not suppose to get you cannot use the result. Thin line/film on top of the fluid is one of them, but there are several other that you have to carefully look for. All are listed in the product description :)

I recommend that you buy a set of 4-5 reagents, and if they all come out with perfect result you can use a purity test. Remeber that you have to look carefully at the entire reaction, adverse reactions can be difficult to spot. The more tests you use, the higher are your chanses at discover any adulerants if they're present.

I would not use that batch again. You were several people that took a normal amount of MDMA, and you all got adverse reactions. That would not have happened if what you had actually was a good product. It's just not worth it in my opinion. :)

Thanks mate!

I thought you said even if its a small amount (1% ) of MDMA it shows it on the test, cause it's searching for it.

I recommend that you buy a set of 4-5 reagents
Is this those Marquis, Mandelin, Mecke, Simon's, Robatest and Buffer etc?
I never understood, why buy so many, they all do the same, just different color?
Whats the meaning of trying all of those, people are colorblind?

I understood it's good to have Folin too to exclude the difference between MDMA/mda/mdea
And the last one Frothed to see PMA/PMMA.

Is it enough? or should I add something else?

The point of using as many tests as possible is that it increases reliability as they are not all likely to fail. Also, they each test for a slightly different range of adulterants. Reagents tests are not for checking that a drug is what you think it is, they're for indicating when it might not be.

terrace, Ah, okey so its best to buy them all?

Send it to a lab

++++

without GC MS you can't be absolutely sure , although Simon's supposedly differentiates between MDMA/MDE and MDA if there was a MDXX response for marquis -- use mecke to confirm the marquis

So with marquis mecke and Simons you can pretty much be sure it was MDMA or MDE (which is almost never made) -- or MDA

or at the very least a chemical so close to MDMA/MDEA (MDE) that you may be the first to get to try
