Real yellow xanax 309 vs fake yellow 309

My prescription for xanax r309 is a bright yellow. I was at my friends house earlier today and he pulled out a xanax. It's was a lighter yellow almost beige had the marking but seemed of to me. Marketing right maybe a slight off on the r but it was thicker also. Can I post a picture or do anyone of you know if this pill he got is legit or fake. Any help would be nice. because if don't want him taking them of the do nothing. Thank you

I believe pill id is against the rules. That being said, even the same manufacturer's pills vary in color shade from batch to batch. He also may have stored them improperly. Ask him if he got them at a legitimate pharmacy. Hope that helps a bit.
